If you want to know how mich money Mangakas made you should watch or better read BAKUMAN. Its tell how mangakas live with some details and in Shounen style. In short: 99,99% of mangakas dont make money.they send work after work to publisher hoping for serialization but in vain. There are very limited number of journals and thousands of people who want to become mengaka. While they send their works they usually work part time as mangaka-assistant. And you are lucjt if you work for someone famous, then you can hope that youll get paid. If you work for small artist then you'll get enough money for food, and better work for two or three mangakas to get money for rent (that is humonguos in Tokyo, andf eagfh 80% ofpublishers located there). But what if finally you get serialization? Now youll get money? HAH nooooo) Youll get salarry enough to pay for room and food, maybe even cloths if its a big publisher. And dont forget that if you need assistant his sallary will be taken from YOURS) But hey maybe you can just go to better publisher with better sallary. HA HA no. all publishers consists in corporate collusion to pay equally in all publishing. But dont worry you will get big juivy vhunk of GOLD then you manga will get TANKOBON republish. (oh and dont forget to make colorful front page for tankobon). And mangaka get their percent from tankobon sales. But were is a catch? 1, you ll get percent after some MINIMAL mandatory sales that cover publishing. 2, If you publish weekly then you need at least 12 chapters for one tankobon.... And this means your manga must last for 3 months at least. And if your manga wasnt popular you will not get tankobon at all. WAIT! Maybe youll get money for anime-adaptation? HAHA no! Money goes for producers anime studio and manga publisher. Mangaka ussually get somethere around 1%. Even Netflix adaptation will onlu give you around 5% of revenue. Your only hope that anime-adaptation will boost manga-tankobon sales and youll get money from there. What about merch? Crazy overprized Figures, hentai-dakimakuras, games? NOPE. NOthing from that gors to original author. So only 0,01% of mangakas made some decent moneys. And having family or kids consider luxury in this industry)

Kyoto animation is the GOAT studio but unfortunately one idiot decide to make a raid on it for a stupid reason (in 2019 I think) resulting 36 deaths (including animator) and reduce everything in the studio to ash. Fortunately for them they received a lot of help and they're back in the industry lately

Ok, a more serius answer is that Eva pioneer two things: 1. Making anime with more adult themes, more focused on human drama and not on action; 2. It's the first anime that was put in a late afternoon/night tv time, so it discovered a fully unexplored and different audience for anime, the adults.

YES Trigun Stampede is definitely definitely worth a watch!! It's incredibly cinematic and well-thought-through, the studio worked on it for 5 years and every little detail matters. The first season is also short (only 12 episodes), so it's a comfy short and sweet watch, and has the best final episode of 2023 in my opinion (epic is not enough to describe it. The pay-off is mind-blowing) 🔥Try first 3 episodes and you'll see if it hooks you, big on the third episode because that's when the show reveals its TRUE colors 🫡😌 With each episode it only gets better, the action and story is great, very intriguing lore and the show itself is aesthetically pleasing has a huge promise for the future. We are actually probably on a cusp of seeing a teaser or key visual for the season 2 at the Anime Expo that's coming up, so I think this is a perfect time to get into it.🤞
