It looks like the back seats of the upper stands are further away from the pitch than any at Goodison.The stands are in effect single tier stands with a corporate section in the middle.At Goodison the upper stands are above the lower stands.(EG if you look over the front of the top balcony you see the enclosure not the main stand)This could mean that rain will get on the lower stand front seats especially the away corner when the wind blows in from the SE. I would avoid seats at the back unless you have good eyesight or at the front and get wet or behind the glass vomitories

Howard Leith ? Archibald Leitch you mean. 😂 Those frames by the trees are wind baffles designed to reduce windspeeds coming off the Mersey. The frames will be filled with steel mesh panels.

Did I say that Jay, oh man I know who Archibald leitch is. Been a long day mate. The criss cross design on the bullens Road stand is his testament to Goodison Park. If I got it wrong mate I apologise. The stadium is looking superb and the little touches make the stadium special😀👍

Should have filled in the other dock....all empty anyway....better than a lopsided stadium

@@ronneyscott5112cost. Ownership. Planning. Take your pick. I’m sure you will have noticed that funding this hasn’t exactly been plain sailing. Why would the club lumber itself with £100s millions more cost just to make it symmetrical? To say nothing of the planning risk of filling in two docks. Plus, it’s owned by Peel, you can’t just build on someone else’s land… was never an option.

The seating in the lower section of the NE corner have been removed for some reason.

Andrew, that is one of the questions I have asked for when I go on a tour of the stadium, will let you and the viewers know the answer I received once I've got them. Cheers👍

The Mersey ferry goes up close enough to it to get a good view from the water. Would be great to be able to travel to games on the Mersey
