What are your thoughts on Evernote?

Lots of innovation happening in Evernote since the acquisition. As per the price - less than cost of 1 coffee a week. So if you use it as much as I do, then well worth the small fee.

Task syncing between devices in my experience is very slow though. Waiting for the calendar features to have parity with iOS. But you’re right, Bending Spoons seems to love Evernote and that bodes well for its future. I remember when Evernote was more concerned with brand swag like socks and water bottles. They also made their own EN branded scanner. I did love their backpacks.

Is the local calendar option only a paid feature? Not appearing as an option for me

What do you think of Amplenote in comparison with Evernote? Since it has feature similarities, like notes, tasks, and calendar integration

Have you tried out the AI audio transcription they dropped recently? I'd love your take.

As someone who has been using Evernote since 2008, I totally agree. I get a ton of value out of it, so I'm fine with the cost. If they ever want to attract new users though, I think the cost needs to be a little more competitive.

I was Evernote user since 2012. But in between left as feature request were not made . I finally left . When bending spoon took over I requested time and date stamp and hey there in short time there it was I paid my full year subscription and plan to remain with evernote. Regarding their subscription its very fair - Tons of features and they listen to their Users request. this is EVER NOTE !!! Bending spoon made it Ever !!!!

Did they 10 year wait for merging notes in ios is finally over? If not Evernote is SO NOT back!

Like your videos... Not this one I'm afraid. Evernote is dead, price, speed and customer service was dreadful etc... can't compete. Moved everything off to obsidian. Never looking back.

About a year ago... soo many issues with Evernote. Improvements, price and appalling customer service make me really dislike the product. I was an 8+ year user with over 30k notes. Like many others, i simply cant stomach the mention of them tbh.

@@charlesbonfante9188 I was you. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything else I could stick with for very long. I got a promo for half off and figured I would keep EN around until I could find something better. The improvements thus far by Bending Spoons have certainly captured my attention, and I don't want to let past experiences with the old EN prevent me from considering the new EN.

I have more than 3 devices. So I can't use Evernote.

Dead as a doornail. Every solution out there is cheaper - and many of them are better. Especially at notes. IMO, the Spoons made a bad acquisition.
