Nice man, i love this thing. Only thing that bugs me is the lack of versatility on the wire size and type. As far as the machine itself it can do anything that you throw its way. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm not changing the wire size too often, so that's not gonna bug me (yet). But I wish the setting indicator would stay put for more then 2 seconds. I clicked over to post flow, and before I could adjust it, it went back to its default location (wire speed led).

haha totally know what you are talking about. It is a bit fast but once you get used to the settings its not too bad. as for wire size I use mostly .030 wire but tried to buy some thin wire for autobody that wouldnt catch on the either feed roller groove.

Hello man, I have a question, I am new on this, but I like to know if this model support TIG welding aluminium?

hey man no unless you get a spool gun attachment so that you can mig weld with aluminum (i think, i've never done it) But i do know the machine supports spoolguns

  • @richmac918

Lift start is for when you are using it around sensitive electronics (could be a pace maker as Wilton said). The AL settings are for the two types of aluminum used for MIG welding with a spool gun.

Good video. You can weld alum With a mig spool gun, stick electrode not sure if ac or dc and also dc tig but only with certain types of alloys and only with 100% helium

SundownBlazer hey thanks man, its a great multi purpose welder and I fully recommend it for the price. Each ability of the machine is well designed. The mig isn't a good mig despite being a tig and visa versa. It's really good at all three stick, tig, and mig.

You can't use high frequency start on anything with sensitive electronics; it can seriously damage circuitry. In those cases you only want to use lift start.

I've had mine for about 3 years now. I had an issue. I contacted everlast they walked me through the trouble shooting process. It turned out it was a main board. They sent it out I had it two days later. I called them back they walked me through bolt for bolt plud for plug what I needed to do to remive the old and install the new. No other issues at all and I use it at least 3 days a week

Can I weld aluminum with this machine I have the same one

  • @weldit321

out of the box no, There is a spoolgun attachment that you can buy that will allow you to Al mig with this machine. But you will need pure argon and that spool gun. I would recommend finding an ac/dc tig machine to do aluminum
