this song and band are being listened to and liked on spotify and other platforms and have a huge following , so don't always count the likes on you tube count the whole number

is for first time when i lisen a song from Evergrey but already i love them :X

I saw this song on TV very late one night in between programs back in 2004 I walked out just a sec before the credits and missed the band name and title .Damn it I could've been a fan years 18 years ago. Thankfully I found this in 2019 and now a fan for life!

Sometimes I just think that they are the best band on the planet. All their music speaks to me on a spiritual level. The sheer aggression and beauty of all their music has no equal.

@@roxanne1987r Lots of great bands out there playing the same style of music but I have never had one sound like Evergrey. Kind of like a Van Halen or a Pink Floyd. No one sounds like them that I have run across yet. Definitely lots of kick ass bands doing it though.

I'm totally onboard with op here. but the band will often release an overly dramatic song and it just throws me off. It's like, all that sheer power is just being wasted on moaning around. This song is one of the few that slaps more than it moans.

I had just recently discovered Nightwish and Children of Bodom right before Nightwish did their Nemo tour. I bought concert tickets based on the fact it was those two bands. Evergrey opened up for them and yes, I bought a Nightwish shirt, but I ALSO bought this album. Fell in love with these guys and man, what a show that was. From all three bands.

This Track is a Milestone in Music. THe Video could have a better Quality.

@sjbrave2k2 Absolutely. In fact I'm wondering why I said PoS is darker than DT... perhaps the odd song off maybe Scarsick or One Hour by the Concrete Lake but late DT is darker than PoS on average. My favourite era of DT would have to be Images/Awake, anyway.

@SweetOdinsRavens "Dark power metal" isn't a genre. I know it's really stupid to a point, there are hundreds of subgenres but they're just prog/power with a darker sound, just as Pain of Salvation are a darker Prog metal than Dream Theater, yet still the same genre.

@SweetOdinsRavens Yeah fair enough- and you're completely correct in saying so, but you can't correct someone that calls them "prog/power metal" as a genre by saying they're "dark power metal," because "dark" is simply an adjective whereas prog/power is the genre. A tad picky but I'm just saying.
