Don't look like it's hurting the tree to me. You can tell it's not cutting circulation off to the branch. Leave it alone so it can become a moth and be food for the bats, birds, spiders, and lizards. The animals that are important to us in so many ways.

Actually only the males evolve into Mothim, the females keep their structure and actually grow into their cocoon which becomes part of their evolution called Wormadam. Burmy also has different forms depending on the environment

They don't cause any harm to the cedar tree. If you look at the ends of the branches that have those "bags" on them, the leaves are green all the way to the ends. Those bags are made from unattached leaves with silk woven to the inside to protect the moth. Those moths have been doing this since the beginning of time. If they harmed the cedar trees, then there would be no cedar trees, because those things are everywhere.

This was... literally ten years too late. Our little evergreen bush? Rotted, Bagworms probably every cause it was a pain to pull out. It was also overgrown in general but it was *rotting* from the inside out.

This was... literally ten years too late. Our little evergreen bush? Rotted, Bagworms probably every cause it was a pain to pull out. It was also overgrown in general but it was *rotting* from the inside out.
When I was little, I thought they were part of the tree and I used to squish them and green shit would come out. One day I was holding one and I felt it moving so I opened it and realized 😬
