Everest Part 2 - Namche to Dingboche

After a successful acclimatisation day in Namche, we headed back on the road, increasing in altitude, and starting to feel the effects of it. Passing through a beautiful monastery and one of the last bastions of Dingboche.

Except height , there is nothing challanging on EBC trek. You sleep in a cozy hotel, eat warm food, have good toilets .. Wake up , have good breakfast, walk , again retire in a nice lodge with heated common area, good bed and warm blanket... Anyone who has tolerance for height and moderate stamina can easily do this super hyped not so difficult trek.

Absolutely agree. As long as u take it steady and get plenty of food in, i reckon almost anyone could do it. The real test is dealing with the altitude, which with preparation beforehand and during the hike, should be minimised significantly 😁😁

Apparently you were not aware of a much more impressive high trail leading to EBC which goes via Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche, not through Tengboche monastery, which should be visited on the way down. Vastly better views, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers. Does not make any sense to hike twice the same low trail when there is a better alternative available.

We did take a different path in the way down but not that particular path. Does sounds incredible though. But just being there taking in the views we hard were just incredible no matter which path u take. 😁😁
