• Where can I get permit, and their cost?
There are 2 check post at ‘Monjo’ on the trail (in between Phakding and Namche Bazaar),
permit 1: Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality’ fee 2000 NPR ( 1250 IINR) at Tok Tok just 2 kilometers from Phakding.
permit 2: for National Park Entrance Permit' fee 1500 NPR( 937 INR) at Manjo.
( 3000 NPR for non-SAARC nations).
• Is there electricity? Can I recharge my device?
Yes, you can charge your electronic device at every tea house but they will charge you right above from Lukla. They might take 100-300 NPR for an hour or full charge. Instead carry your portable solar panel or power banks wrapped in the woolen cloth to avoid discharge due to cold.
• What are the prerequisites or fitness required to do EBC?
• I didn’t fly to Lukla, which made me trek long way; an addition of 100 km. Being very much laid and commercial, EBC will stand out to be a difficult trek with its ascends, long distance, rucksack on back.

It was may 2022. Solo trekking is banned in Nepal According to new rule! But I saw still people go solo. Shayad aap ja sakte ho
Amazing efforts. Congratulations. Few questions How higher can you go beyond kala patthar/ base camp solo? What was weight of your backpack 🎒? Which acc to you was toughest day of trek? Is Nov good to trek solo?
@ecstaticindian
5 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for reach out to me! 1. From the Kala patthar you can witness the best view of mount Everest you can't go more than Kala patthar as it is the top point with the elevation about 5500m. 2. My backpack was around 15-16 kg, actually I was pussing my limit for future mountaineering expedition. You don't need to carry that much of weight, along the way tea house ( lodges, ) are good to stay. Yes. November will be good to trek as you will witness the clear sky. Please connect with me on instagram for more query.

It depends! In terai region most of the shops accept Indian currency of 100 and 200 notes. But in hilly regions it's difficult to use India currency. I will suggest to exchange money from the boarder or any travel/ transport agency. Thanks:)
