Video is from solo concert in September. The recordings were crowdfunded by Floor's fans and they have been releasing one video a week from the concert with the goal of releasing the whole concert. This was the opening song and the first release. It is a more intimate arrangement geared towards an audience that is probably half fans of Nightwish and half fans from her Beste Zangers appearance (non-metal fans). She performs songs from all of her bands (After Forever, ReVamp, Northward, Nightwish) as well as from Beste Zangers as well as covers from her YT channel. The band backing her is the same band and back up singers from Beste Zangers. There are 3 duets with Henk Poort during the show as well. Songs released so far Ever Dream, Storm in a Glass (Northward), Mama (Beste Zangers), Nemo (very different arrangement), Sweet Curse with Henk Poort (ReVamp), Dangerous Game with Henk Poort (YT), Euphoria (Beste Zangers), Face Your Demons (After Forever), Winner (Beste Zangers), Slow Love Slow, Shallow (Beste Zangers). Sweet Curse is my favorite performance of any song by her and this recording is just gorgeous. Highly recommend. There is also a really fun documentary, The Road to Amsterdam, that is worth watching for the backstory.

While I still enjoy the Nightwish stuff for her solo show, I find that her After Forever / ReVamp songs fit better in this style of arrangement. I especially love Sweet Curse with Henk.

The Marcel Fisser Band comprise top-notch musicians. They are not Nightwish of course and are playing a lighter softer version of the Nightwish songs (unless they are lighter, softer Nightwish songs like Slow Love Slow), but they are, within their own frame of reference, brilliant at what they do and a perfect band to accompany Floor, given the sheer variety of material she includes in her setlist.

I saw her live in 2020 in The Hague at her nineth solo show 😍 Still got my two 2020 Nightwish tickets for Amsterdam. They are valid for nov 2022 now due to Covid.

It's the same band Floor sung her songs with in the Dutch program 'De Beste Zangers'. She trusts them totally. She did songs nobody thought she would ever sing but with a little hint to metal(ish) music. So what you heared here is what Floor wanted people to hear. So basically you can't compare this performance with one she would do with Nightwish. Btw the audience was not a metal crowd but more a mixed Dutch audience.

*Floor don't need Nightwish to make her shine. You can put two shiny things in the same room, but you will always see just two things that shine....unless they combine their lights of the same colour to one much brighter shining ray of light.
