Eventide H90 all factory programs (No Talking)

Музыка

The H90 is the amazing flagship pedal just released from Eventide on 11/9/22. This video is my play through of the included 99 factory programs 1-99. Each program contains 2 presets (algorithms). Recorded with Logic Pro stereo out from the pedal.
The H90 has an entirely new effect architecture compared to the H9 and is extremely easy to edit. Easy banking up and down on the fly.
Users can store up to 4 playlists in groups of 99 programs.
Thanks for watching.

Correct settings per guitar? That makes perfect sense for impedance (where most multi-effects presets fall flat), but not for the preset design. The utility of over-the-top presets is limited to rare use cases, and often get lost in a mix (or worse, cause issues with a mix).

Thanks so much for the demo of this and it was well done, too. I'm a Helix user and the only thing I really miss from it is a good harmonizer, I keep hoping it'll eventually show up in one of the software updates they do about twice a year or so. No denying the quality sounds from Eventide and yes, as usual, they go overboard showing off the effects in the presets, but I do wish I heard a simple harmonizing of a melody line to know how "natural" sounding that would be. Thanks again and good luck with it.

The reverbs veer too much on the washed out ambient for my taste but I suppose that editing can fix that in some cases. I don’t like the distortions at all.

I had the noise gate turned practically all the way off. I suspect that there is a lot more to the pedal than the gate. I think that there may be something in the circuit that absorbs power transients, I'm not exactly sure. It seems that even the best of guitars have some issue in the dryer winter air. A good power brick that has a third dedicated ground wire plug seems to absorb these pops much better than two prong adapters.

I’m a dude who has played in bands for 20+ years. Toured, recorded at least 15-20 different releases. I know a lot of other working musicians who are roughly my age and not just a younger kid scrapping by. Adults, many with good paying jobs. I don’t know a single person who would spend 1000 dollars on a pedal. This shit is made for Blues Lawyers and Rich Kids.

Hmm I think your beef may be a little misdirected at home YOU TUBERS who don’t tour and the pedal is getting dissed along with it. It’s 2023 and much respect to anyone with tour experience, BUT since the operative word for you seems to be TOUR.. I too currently tour with this pedal with a Van Halen tribute, other multiple acts, and then I turn around and do jazz fusion on off nights from the ‘tour’ and need the same pedal for the Holdsworthy stuff. Also played Jazz w my father, using a Jazz box, small amp and no pedals. Still worth the $ for what I can create with it. Cheers Justin and hope you have great day.

I am a dude who has been playing piano and guitar and harmonica for the last 41 years, owns strats teles and analog and digital synths. So, eclectic. Not everyone has to be Keith Richards or Jean-Michel Jarre. You can be both. To each his own. The least we can do, is respect them all. Some of us buy $4000 guitars and some $1000 pedals. Peace.

I have more than twice the cost invested in my current pedalboard. Buying this costs less than half my board and replaces 80% of my pedals. Not to mention the smaller footprint and less crap to move around. Anyone who's complaining about the cost just like to flap their mouths and complain about anything and everything, like their opinions mean something. Try sitting down with your gear. Add up what you've already invested, including your time. I'll bet you'll find it doesn't cost as much as you've already spent.

this pedal is clearly targeted to electronics and lo-fi musicians but being a guitar effects company they made some presets for "political correctness" so I am not surprised many guitarists here complain. for me beeing experimental electronics user this pedal is a heaven of possibilities, however, still, the price tag is ridiculous for "just another pedal" on your shelf 😁😁

The pedal has a ton of features under the hood, parameter control, midi patch bay, midi control, dual mode, and functionality beyond what is seen here. My other vid goes into details.

...and in the end its music that counts, not the effects on it... a musician should think spending 1200€ for an effect, or to invite a nice girl for dinner, and in the end playing a song for her with an acoustic guitar in the hotel (😁) ... think about, music and girls are different things... the only effect you need is feeling to creat a great song and the rest you know...lol

@@allanb1402 Yes I am watching WT now it sounds great there sometimes but its the PRICE OF A FRACTAL FM3 WHICH IS LIGHTYEARS AHEAD in every way. I think a lot of people left eventide, then someone saved the company, and now its run by some kid/s some punk kid... the kid who announced the rose pedal... which I thought looked cool, but I remember that moment being like what is going on with eventide? Since then its been downhill... this pedal looks like it cost anywhere from $10-100 max to produce. It could not look any more cheap.

Too expensive and too many options. You DO NOT need all this, if your songs good, nothing else matters.
