I figured I had bought the worlds most complex seat when I couldn’t figure out how to get to the dang strap and I was ready to box it back up and return it. Just got this seat, have only test fit my babe in it, 22lb, 76cm long. Do you find the fixed strap covers prevent you from tightening the straps properly? Seems to be my issue with it, the straps over shoulders are too wide and doesn't pass pinch test no matter how tight I get it

Just got this one, Canada version with sensor safe and Gold lifetime warranty. In comparison to the infant car seat, this one is so much easier when it comes to adjustments. And by now Canadian version is airspace travel approved, I received a supplement in the box saying so.

Can you Use it to bring baby home in ? In Canada and not sure what the rules are I know you need a car seat . But we want to try and save a bit of money this time around without buying multiple seats

It does locks when it's on the side.

I'm curious, the angle of the seat looks pretty bad. Can that be adjusted? Baby looks like they are sunk into the seat with knees unnaturally close to chest.

We bought a baby car seat and it was such a waste of money. We use a baby carrier to take the baby in the stores. Our baby hated sitting in the infant seat. We also got a stroller that turned into a bassinet, which is what they are suppose to be in the fist six months. They shouldn’t be in a carseat unless in the car bc it is bad for their breathing. I think the thought of carrying your baby in the carseat is finally being faded out in the US like the rest of the world already.

This is not an infant carrying seat so it does not pair with strollers.

What stroller do you use since this is a permanent seat? That's what I can't seem to figure out to get. I need a swivel car seat but I don't want to buy the cybex Aton M one because its for infants not for toddlers. I'll need the swivel more once the baby gets bigger anyway. Plus cybex is too expensive. But another cost of a stroller is also expensive. I'm trying to find the lightest stroller that can carry infants because I have pain in my hips.

I had my eyes set on the cybex but last night at the store I ended up getting the graco over this one but not cause the graco says it will hold up to 100lbs and the evenflo said only hold up to 66lbs. I was really gonna get the even flow. I still might cause the graco seems to not want to turn not want to swivel once you are on step 2 of 3 and that’s a total waste of $300

I’m sure I missed it in the video but hwo do you adjust the shoulder straps to make it more loose for a bigger guy

There's a button where the strap under the crotch comes out. You depress it and the shoulder straps loosen. It's hidden and sorta difficult to get to

How are the extra-long shoulder stra pads supposed to work when tightening? Should the "tail" stick out? And if not, is there a trick to keeping it aligned and tucked?

Does it have safety sensor one?

Can you take out the car seat portion and use it as a baby carrier? (Like other infant car seats?)

Usually the uas tethers have a 40 pound child weight limit. Be sure to read your manual

How has this held up , now that your baby is older?

This is what I’m getting soon. I don’t want to be struggling to put my daughter in. Especially since I’m a bit on the tiny side. @@mrsmmiles9834 think its fixed. You can definitely pull the seat up. Not inclining. Its near the head area, there is a trigger to pull it up. I presume this will help you. Shoulder strap just pull the string bottom seat to tighten.

On the bottom of the car seat there’s the long strap to pull for you to tighten the straps, if you look in the little hole the strap is coming out from, push the little button down and hold while you loosen your straps :)

what do you do when you go out to the store? Can it set into a cart okay?

That's what I'm thinking I should have done more research before I added to registry and someone already purchased for me. I dont see that it is good for transporting an infant from the car to the house or car to the store.

It is not a portable car seat. It only removes from the base for easy installation.

I love this but you can't buy extra bases :(

I'm thinking between this one and the Cybex Siron S, also a revolving car seat. the only question I have is does the seat, once locked into a position, wobble? Also, when you drive over a bump or something does the seat wobble? Thank you.

It does wobble a little bit when going over bumps but the base doesn’t move what so ever if you tighten it right. Way better than the cybex

I just bought this car seat.. I was trying to decide on this one and the Cybex as well.. I ended up going with this one because the Cybex only goes up to 65lbs and this one goes up to 120lbs.. so this one would grow with my baby and last longer than the more pricier alternative..

We have the Cybex Sirona S now. While we love the swivel/rotating function and the other amenities, we never felt very confident about the installation and security of the seat. No matter how much I tighten up the belt, the seat has just enough wiggle to it that it bothers me. Ordering the Evenflo now so hopefully it's more confidence inspiring after installation

Stick your finger under the fabric where the long tightening strap is at the bottom and you’ll feel the button to press and loosen the straps. Lol it took me FOREVER to find this out. Hope this helps!

Some how i got mine installed and then went to put the top back on everything was fine went to turn it to put baby in and its like stuck it wont turn or come off even with arrows lined up idk whats going on... The dad tried for bout an hr we had to bring it back inside and still now cant get the base off it seems jammed or something .. Anyone else had this happen?? So frustrated ive read the whole manual watched all the videos i can find and Nothing has helped so far...

@@haleygreen9776 yeah where it like connects to the base at the back I used a really good flat head screw driver shoved it in between base and top part until it finally popped apart .. I had put it in on a bit of an angle so that's why it got stuck just be sure it's perfectly lined up in the future when connecting top to bottom.. I just ain't taking it apart again lol

girl we have the cybex sirona s too! it wiggles so much, it scares me, even just with turning it. that’s why i’m here, and i think we’re getting this one!

The thing I don’t like about this is you cannot get a second base, if my husband needs to take his car we would need another car seat.

It's the adjustment handle for the head support. Super minor and you can tune it out
