As a taekook fan and a Korean, I'd like to clarify the translation used in the Vlive episode. At 6:30, we can see the members' pictures and the mission JK has underneath each picture. Underneath V's picture, it says "말 무시하기" (mal moo-shi-ha-gi which means "ignore (V's) words/speech." [For further breakdown, mal means "words/speech," moo-shi means "ignore," and "ha-gi" is a form of "to do."] The translator of the episode chose to translate it as "Ignore V," which is inaccurate. So all JK had to do was, at some point, ignore what V is saying to succeed his mission and, as Taetae says, JK does that a lot so he didn't even notice it. I don't know if that moment of mission completion was caught on camera or even edited into the episode because I haven't analyzed it (and don't plan to). I hope you see this message because as a taekook fan, I want analyses to be as accurate and true as they can be because there are so many real taekook moments. When it isn't accurate, it's easier for anti-taekookers and non-believers to scoff at it. Have a great day! This should be noticed. Thank you for clearing it up. I think the better angle of the video would be how most of the missions involved JK needing to do direct contact/skinship/interaction while his mission with V was the complete opposite - which is to ignore him. It’s funny that the people who came up with the missions thought of that.

HI, I know you commented 3 years ago, and might not get this message. but I was wondering if (as a Korean person with awareness of cultural norms) you really feel that there is something special about TaeKooks relationship. From a western perspective it seems that they truly have a special unique bond that goes beyond friendship, but I would really hate to be analysing things incorrectly. I know they are shipped in Korea, but is this more just wishful thinking on fans part - or is it actually that people there also have noticed their actions as unusual between best friends.? I am Italian and our culture is very "touchy" - ie: kissing on cheeks and hugging between men shows affection and respect and does not mean you are gay, but even as an italian their "touchiness" is beyond normal comprehension... but more than their touches is the way they look at each other as tho they are drowning in love ( I don't know how to explain it). Sorry for the questions, I hope you don't think I'm rude, but I do not know anyone who was raised in Korea (all of my korean friends were raised in western countries) who can answer this for me. I do hope they are together as their lives must really be so lonely otherwise, and they laugh and smile together with such joy that my heart breaks when they are separated.... after all the joy they give to us I believe they deserve someone who loves them for who they really are - not JK and V but Jeon JeongGuk and Kim TaeHyung. I knew mission was "ignore V's word" but that goes same as "ignore V". They didn't show when JK ignored V's word. Also V didn't say like "ah, that's why you ignored me!". He also didn't see it happen like us. (At least to his recognition) But he kinda said things in favor of JK. He said he wasn't aware of the mission because JK always does it. To be honest, he could have said like "I didn't think I was ignored" and argue JK didn't do his mission. But he just let JK win even though he didn't see.

I never understood how he "passed" the ignore V mission either... The only thing I can think of is when after V's bungee jump, Jin is feeling up V's chest for his heart rate, and it looks like jelly!JK doesn't react or say anything but stare... (and is somewhat frustrated by it) Anyway, thanks for doing videos on the early run episodes. I feel like there's not enough analysis videos about them even though there's a lot of taekook moments hidden in them.

Tae was doing all the challenges Jungkook was suppose to be doing odd don’t you think. He was probably just trying to put the attention on himself so they wouldn’t suspect Jungkook.
