Probably my fave from WANYK and I love the vertical lyric in the breakdown. Was disappointed they didn't include it live the first time I saw it after it came out but, happily they added it back in to the set lists for the shows I've seen since then. As much as I would love to agree, nothing beats the Live in London version from 2002.

This was such a wonderful song. I've loved it since the first time I heard it. It was such a great return for Slipknot. The newer members are killing it, even though they have big shoes to fill. In terms of the masks, I think it's sort of like getting into a character. It helps you to let out all that aggression and let it stay on that character instead of it being you. It's like a stage show. It's all in good fun. People who claim they are satanic have no idea what they are talking about.

They're not new to me, but they are my current favorites. I highly recommend them. They really showcase Joey's drum work (and some great playing by Jay Weinberg) and how their songs don't fit into one box. They are amazingly talented. Here's the list: Solway Firth A.O.V. You have to react to their older stuff. The Debut Album from Slipknot was very HEAVY and their best work. SIC, SPIT IT OUT, WAIT AND BLEED, EYELESS & LIBERATE are Amazing. And when you listen to that, you see Slipknot at a whole different Level.

You know, I would call their early work "different", not "the best". My opinion is that each album is unique and beautiful in its own way. The band changes and experiments, that's why I love Slipknot. Their albums are heavier, it's true, but the last two albums are beautiful in their technical part and lyrical content. This is my opinion, I love Slipknot, just like you :D I'm sorry if English is bad, I used a translator :/

Just personally I disagree. I think download from 2009 was them at their peak. Corey quit smoking around a year earlier so his voice recovered. Joey was still tearing it up and Jim’s best tone was at that concert. They could just never get it right again like they did with that show. I mean just they’re best show and live performance. Not as far as albums. Or songs

The first time I saw this I had goosebumps by the time I heard the choir. I was pleasantly surprised to hear and see this magnificent song, it was so complete. Just so SlipKnoT.

Nero Forte is a huge favorite and really shows Corey and the band's skills well. It's very easy to listen to and grabs your attention like non other. Plus the video is awesome. I watch your channel all the time and I love it and I see your style, so I know you'll love the track.

This is one of my favorite Slipknot songs not because of aggression but because of the lyrics. Simply awesome and from my perception accurate to the journey of life.

SOOOO many amazing Slipknot songs....this is one of my favorites for sure but I'd say Solway Firth is probably my current favorite.

As a singer who appreciates other singers, you should check out Alter Bridge. They have one of the best vocalist in rock or any genre of music out there. Blackbird is where I’d start.

This shows my age, but I was a teenager when Slipknot released first album and it became my favourite band for the rest of my life. You have no idea how groundbreaking and fresh that band was at that time. I hope you will react to some of the older songs from Slipknot or Iowa. Yup I'm 40 and saw them on the first ozzfest tour and they are every bit as good and even better today as back then.

Slipknot IOWA is the best and hardest album, by far, and they hated each other during those speed-driven days. I listen to it before I coach 🏈🔥

The bands level of frustration and aggression was peaked during the recording of the Iowa album....that entire record from start to finish is a masterpiece 👌

Story time : I am a drummer influenced heavily by Late great Joey Jordison and I'm a huge Slipknot fan ( the first ink I got was the Slipknot logo on my forearm ) And I'm Persian ( living in Iran ) that means I can't see Slipknot live unless they come to a neighbour country . back in 2011 Slipknot came to Turkey and that was my chance to see them live for the first time . I started to save money to attend this concert and then boom things led to one another and I was at a crossroad : 1. Watching Slipknot live for the first time Or 2. Buying my first ever drumkit Long story short , I went for the drumkit and missed my chance to see Slipknot and the man who inspired me to be a drummer before he passed away . Still to this day I haven't seen Slipknot live but I became one of the best drummers in my town thanks to them and Joey ( Rest in peace #1 ) ♥️

Do Critical Darling off We Are Not Your Kind, it's energetic and has a filthy bass riff that makes you head bang. So glad you're discovering the Knot, I myself hadn't listened to them for a long time and have recently picked them back up, they are insanely good. Corey is the man. Check out his other band Stone Sour as well.
