He's Grade A leading man material, not even a question. A chameleon like the legendary actors Gary Oldman and Heath Ledger, has charisma, doesn't play himself in every movie like so many movie stars do, tremendous passion and artistic skill... like Marlon Brando and Daniel Day Lewis, and of course RANGE.

He was AMAZING! AND so was the whole cast. I'm mad that more people did not give the show the credit it deserves. And my God, those gorgeous shots!! #bravo

Well, now I have watched "The Offer" three times and I'm sure they won't be the last. It is magnificent! In an unending display of amazing performances in this series, Matthew Goode's is an indisputable standout! He takes my breath away in every scene he is in. "The Kid Stays in the Picture" has always been one of my favorite documentaries. Thus, I could have been very disappointed in anyone's portrayal. Oh, the soliloquy in the Boardroom! Heartstopping! I hope he gets all of the accolades he has earned.

Totally Agree! That documentary on him had me saying they need to make a movie about that guy. This will do but there could be more and with this gentleman as Evans. This is my 3rd time watching the Offer. Bob Evans, who knew right?!

Will Matthew Goode be the new 007 James Bond? ... He is perfect to be the new 007.

He plays Bond in an audio book on Audible. Sooooo well done. Good story too. Definitely check it out, he has such a wonderful voice.

I've been going down a rabbit hole of MG YT interviews and clips from this series because I can't get enough of him. This is probably the best so far so cheers for that. Biggest point tho, Matthew, bless you and your kind self. I've heard you give answers to similar questions for hours now and you always answer as if it's the first time you've heard it. Such a lovely man.

If you haven't seen it, check out The Wine Show (theres clips on YT). Its Matthew being very casual and fun and sometimes a wee bit drunk 😉 His personality really shines! Plus, theres loads of info about wine, wine culture and they visit some absolutely stunning vineyards.

he's just that endearing actor. Almost nailed in every role he played. i always remember when I watched Chasing liberty for the first time, I just thought I need to searching every film hes in. Gosh, more than 20 years went by, hes just getting better and better 👏 🙌 😍

I viewed all episodes of The Offer and was amazed by Matthew’s work! He played it musically, I think it was a way to diminish his accent! Love in the Discovery of witches! I wonder if he stopped smoking after filming? Lovely man! Can’t wait to see his next work!

Since my writing partnership with my best started with Godfather inspired When Doves Cry, watching The Offer was pure joy. My favorite line, "Are you comfortable? Get the f*** out of my car!"

Matthew Goode totally made the movie! All of the actors were brilliant! However, his performance as Robert Evans was the absolute best in the movie! Brilliant! Watching "The Offer" just made me fall in love with the Godfather saga. I watched it again to review the scenes that were featured in the Offer. If there is ever another movie made about Robert Evans, Matthew Goode should have the role!

Not even a matter of like or dislike. What Mathew Goode did with his Robert Evans performance in the Offer is a matter of US television history and is on the level of the best of the Golden Age of US television of the 50s and 60s. What made the Offer a great series was Goode's ability to capture the voice gestures and mannerisms of one of the greatest producers of all times and transport the audience to the wild and swinging era of Hollywood in the 70s. Each episode you literally can't wait to see Goode on the screen. Nothing has been done like this or even close on US television in 45 years. I hope he will now get some great movie scripts to allow him to show such a full range and dif accents. The British actors have a very proud heritage of a continuous thread of acting going back to Chaucer. Someone asked Tom Hardy ...after " The Drop" came out if he ever saw on the Waterfront " cause his characterization was so much like Brandi. He stated he never saw the movie. Just saw technique. Christian Bale and Gary Oldman do our accents so well that you forget they are from the UK and the portrayal of Evans is right up there.

The most extraordinary piece of acting ever tremendous

Everyone did a great job but I'd give the MVP to Matthew Goode. He was awesome in The Lookout and Watchmen but this was incredible.

Rock group Foriegner hasn't been nominated into R&R Hall of Fame; and Matthew Goode wasn't nominated for an Emmy Award. Two things I don't understand.

He should play loki variant, I would love to see him working with Tom Hiddleston

With all that research and preparation there’s on minor miss step that bugs me. Evans parted his very straight hair on the left Side!
