Actually, we've been told that there can be mutations unrelated to quirk i.e Mina's & Tokyami's appearance. However, the mutation that causes these appearances are probably passed through genetics thus, Tokyami could of gotten his appearance from one parent & Dark Shadow from the other or both from one parent since this mutation isn't related to the quirk. (Feel free to yell "NERD" at me now.)

1. Dark Shadow, I'm not around animals enough to talk to them, but I talk to myself all the time anyway, might as well be with someone else. 2. I'm not villainous enough, so I'd take a boring quirk and being a hero. I mean, Kiri says his quirk isn't flashy or anything and he's a good hero. 3. Tutor Denki, he's someone I can vibe with, even if he refuses to retain the information I give him. I like Katsuki but he'd make me cry. Would you rather have a powerful quirk (like One For All ) but only be able to use it 3 three times or have a weak quirk you can use anytime?

Not me going "I'm jumping either way" with the Hawks one 😭
