Eve Online - Tech 2 manufacturing made easy - Learn the basics

Ойындар

Hey folks,
So the first of a few videos on T2 manufacturing. Ive tried to keep it as simple as possible focusing on the BPC copying and how to then create the Tech 2 BPCs. From there moving over to the production/manufacture of the T2 item itself.

    Hi folks, let me know how you found this. If it was helpful or if it was to basic? Its not an easy to cover in just one video. If you would like more of an in-depth look then let me know. Cheers

    Big hairy subject. I think many people sell at a loss or don't consider their own time getting the resources.

    Very useful video. Well explained. You come unstuck when you claim the market value of the HML II is 1M when those are speculative sell orders. The true value is what someone is willing to pay, which is your 902K figure, when your buy order was entered. Don't make the mistake of looking at a sell order price and assuming you can get that, as you are only guaranteed to be able to sell at an Immediate buy price, which is oftentimes (much) less.

    This was helpful to understand all of the ins and outs. I’m surprised that the chance of creating a tech 2 copy is so low.

    Hey John, 46-49% is really high! This can be increased with decrytors but at a cost. I will cover this in a future video. In the past invention was much more hassle. Over the years CCP has slowly given invention a leg up to stop people complaining about T2 BPO's.

    T2 stuff can be a serious pain in the butt, especially if you get involved into the "entire" manufacturing process. It is much easier if you have the support of a corporation, otherwise, you might find yourself overwhelmed unless you approach it from the "eat the elephant" concept. Cheers.

    I have like 0% to do with Industry in EVE, only pve and pvp. Yet, your videos are real interesting. Love it :) Might wanna check your spelling of "Manufacturing" in the thumbnail though.

    You cover the basics quite extensively. For a new player trying to get into manufacturing it's helpful. As you demonstrated though doesn't look profitable. So why do all these people bother? This is what some of us want to know. Part of it i guess has to do with buying orders and also doing the process from start to finish. You nailed it though when you said that it's a nightmare. Please follow up on this with the ways on how it can be profitable. Thank you for the time you take to create this content. Keep up the good work!

    I approach ALL manufacturing from the lens of self-sufficiency rather than mass profit. I also have my own mini-game based on the Activity Tracker. I have been researching for a few years now, and am steadily growing my activity tree from creating the occasional Tech2 ammunition batch to making Sleipnirs and Mastodons (Yes I am Minmatar). I am currently researching a Tempest BPC with the hope of making my own Vargur......... Research is fun for me- I am pretty sure I am still running net negative over the years, but all I am looking for is sustainable fun......I just want to make enough to fund my next industry milestone. After the Vargur (hopefully) I will be looking to get an Athanor (Upwell structure) and find a good place to do a little Moon Mining.

    cool. Been playing just over a month and have just got my first PI set up, made some construction blocks, and also now have a character in a position to start looking at T2 stuff so this was incredibly handy and just about the right amount of basic for an idiot like me ;~)

    decryptors weren't mentioned? I can't get out of using these which blow the budget for many items. Now to try and figure out how you are at 10 science jobs while I'm stuck at 1 lol

  • @fenriders7008

    I believe the skills you want to look into are Labratory Operation and Advanced Labratory Operation. If your science skills are too low to get success without decryptors then you will be incurring massive additional costs that gobble all of your profit. You would be better off waiting a bit with invention until your science skills catch up.

    It can be ok income, just make sure and research (don't trust the est numbers) what it's cost and your profit will be. I also suggest not doing so many, I like a 1 / 10 and run those. I only play 1 toon, so keeping spots open for orders makes a difference, with all science trained to 4 (min) depending on the item you will get ave of 4 out of 10 to 6 out of 10. each of those 1 is 10 runs (unless ships) so can keep 1 toon busy. If ammo mining crystals always sell good, the mega miners go thru them, set sales near .5 systems as believe it or not there lazy. Stay out of market hubs unless a quick sale, to much competition you don't get isk back when you drop the price. Always use player owned stations with lowest tax rate. CCP is killing us with the taxes.

    Do you lose BPO if you make a copy?

  • @jnmaz066

    @jnmaz066

    3 жыл бұрын

    No, when you have the BPO and it’s fully researched to 20/10 it’ll stay when you make the copy’s, so you can make 1000 copy’s and it won’t go away

  • @jnmaz066

    @jnmaz066

    3 жыл бұрын

    Only the BPC go away after the amount of runs you did for them, for an example you did 500 runs on a middle BPC than after the 500 runs it’ll go away, now for the BPO if you did 4995 runs and finished it, it won’t go away, you’ll still have it

  • @jnmaz066

    Think of it as leasing a car to financing a car. Leasing a car, you have it for a couple of years and you give it back and get a better one. You finance a car, you have it and pay it off and it’s still yours. BPC is leasing and BPO is Financing

    i manu - dont sell in Jita..everyone and his dad sell there.. peps are v lazy.. sell locally for MUCH better profits, spread out your trades peps generally dont travel to buy so u can take advantage of that. I have, and plex 4 accounts on that basis.

    Pretty much this, I stopped doing as much in Caldari space due to population density. I used to manufacture and sell ammo up near Ibura/Torrinos since some good Lv4 mission hubs are up there. I'd see Antimatter L or Scourge Cruise missiles not having a new sell order for some time, so I'd put up an order and less than 24 hours later I'm undercut. Moved down to Minmatar space, going to see if I can get something set up down there, maybe sell ammo and ship hulls near mission stations.
