Thank you for this! I have a mining fleet and when I started it I decided to try my luck on a 0.4 system and farm rare ores like a noob and sieged and everything xD All I saw was a tier 3 cruiser web me then out of nowhere 2 marauders , praxis, lachesis jumped in and destroyed everything. I panicked and messed up my inputs. I lost 1 orca and 6 retrievers only 3 alts survived. Ever since then I am scared of taking my orcas out. I think the porpoise is much better for this application, she is faster thank the hulls align and I prefer mackinaws instead of hulk the micro management is crazy 8-12 alts. I'm going to try this on 0.9 system, you gave and excuse to clean the dust from my orcas and take them out for a spin. Thank you!

Ofc i tested it ,and work pretty fine :) I would like before mining to get mobile depot + mobile jump unit in my alts ,in case i got bubbled and when not scramed i just jump away :) In other way if been droped by cover/black opc , just put expensive stuff in depot :) If iam camped whit cloaky nerds :) i keep cloack on command destroyer to jump the cyno :) and GG thanks for content ! p.s. It will be nice in future to show Capital Escalations :) Dread,Fax,Carrier , CRAB whit Titan ..... o/

You can also web your hulks to lower their speed. The orca will have a combat timer either way and can't tether because of the bursts.

In null you’d use a POS. You need to stop burst after you hit warp, you can also set a bookmark in the direction of a structure but past it at over 15au. They will assume you warp to the cluster or structure your facing but you can over or under shoot it. The longer your in warp the better your chances of the weapons timer being done once you land. You can also cloak with active bursts and it will cancel them at cycle end and keep you cloaked.

Being new and in my first month, at what point is it ok to stop selling raw ore and start breaking it down into minerals to sell, in high sec?

What are u using to increase the mining range? is this a Traacking computer?

How do you get the range up to 33 km unboosted? The max I can push out is 24.

I was confused about that too. There are Implants called "Harvest Alpha-Epsilon" and then "Harvest Omega" that boost the range of the mining lasers by some %. I'm not suuper sure how to interpret how they work since they all say they boost EACH OTHER's effects by 10% when you get the full set. And then there's Omega which boosts all of them another 25%. But if I've got it correctly, the total boost you can get from all of them combined is: Mid-grade Harvest Alpha: 1% bonus - up to 1.1% with a full set Beta: 2% - 2.2% full set Gamma: 3% / 3.3% Delta: 4% / 4.4% Epsilon: 5% / 5.5% Omega: boosts the rest by 25% --> 1.1% + 2.2% + 3.3% + 4.4% + 5.5% = 16.5% 16.5% increased by 25%: 20.625% total boost ORE Strip Miner range 18.75km + 30% at full Hulk skill + 20.625% = 29.40km so.. closer, but not to 33km yet.... If the 10% boost "stacks" i.e. Alpha boosts Beta and Beta also boosts Alpha (rather than "a full set gives a flat 10% boost"), then we get: Alpha: 1% / 1.4% (there are four other implants so 10% 4 times) Beta: 2% / 2.8% Gamma: 3% / 4.2% Delta: 4% / 5.6% Epsilon: 5% / 7% --> 1.4% + 2.8% + 3.3% + 4.4% + 5.5% = 17.4% 17.4 * 1.25 (Omega implant) = 21.75% 18.75km * 1.3 * 1.2175 = 29.68km... No clue where the other 3 kliks are coming from.

But if you keep range on orca your hulks are approaching orca instead of bookmark, isnt it better to just allign all to athanor?

Having their inertial arrow pointing the right direction is what matters. since this set up will have the Hulks following in the exact same line as the Orca, which is set to aligning to the safe warp point, it already does the alignment and you only have to regulate the Orca's speed, instead of all three.

When i use the medium higgs anchor my speed is still 50m/s. What can i do to lower this. Or can i just let my orca go a bit faster?

@@JAKEL33T Sorry but i'm not sure what you mean. I'm talking about the hulk and learning "Astronautics Rigging Skill " doesn't seem to lower my max velocity of 50 and on the hulk i don't have expanded cargo.
