By far my favorite ship, I've been enjoying this as my mission runner for 3 or 4 years now. It's fantastic once you skill it, and brutal if you bling it. And that's before a buff. I honestly love it because I can run missions while watching a movie. Pop Bastion, cap stable shield rep, and just keep the targets updated as they die. It's not speed clearing, but it's relaxing and easy clearing. It's like flying around in a private bunker. Though I generally favor higher tank and precision cruise missiles. It's nice to kill everything from enemy drones up to battleships with the same ammo, kitted against their resistances. I was two-shotting frigates three years ago, you just needed an expensive fit to do it. And yes the Paladin is the prettiest one.

I mean High DPS is a tank within itself if you think about it. If you're chewing through enemies then it lowers the amount of damage they can deal to you :-)

I've been using a golem to run 10/10s for almost a year, can run them solo in about 45 minutes, with 2 that time was under 30 minutes but not having 6-7 bil on the field in null lol. Only reason I used it before with Torps is because that was were my skills were maxed at lol. Before buff, I was 15/1600 DPS, 11k alpha but this was with implants

The golem has selectable dmg type and looks really cool too!

IM getting 3.2k from vargur. Super versatility. Golem is the same deal. Can do PVE or PVP very well.

I came back after years and went back to my Golem which i pretty much is build like a bunker i can sit in a lv4 mission get all the aggro and lough when a whole pocket like a Angel extravaganza last optional pocket barely tickle my shields while i shoot them with Fury cruise missiles. Heck i tend to build my ships very tanky for PvE and i did once a lv4 mission with my corp Ceo in a rattlesnake or navy scorpion? not sure anymore and i pulled aggro of the whole pocket, he had to leave since he couldn´t tank the dmg while i was sitting happily there tanking and killing everything.

Try pulling off the extra bcu and use a missile guidance enhancer for extra range and application. I believe that would make this fit better for this mission.

Expensive skin you can hardly see :)

Decided to check on my Kronos and see what DPS it does now. I sport a 70 KM blaster fit and jeebus, just shy of 3k with bastion mode. That out does my non-incursion Leshak. 😨

high grade crystals. 2b/set. These guys usually keep implants and boosters subtle; he did say it tho.

I think just in general you would be better off not splitting the torps. Having both painters on one target makes sure makes dps is applied and because those torps already shoot so fast in the event that you do end up wasting a cycle you will waste very little time vs fiddling with 2 groups of weapons.

in most cases it doesnt make sense to fit 4X damage in the lows i prefer a maximum of 3x damage and than start to work on amplifaction

Agreed, and if we ignore rate of fire and look at missile damage specifically its a 5 mod fit as far as stacking penalties are concerned so that final T2 bcs is doing almost nothing. I would prefer a damage control.

BuzzKill in under 12 Minutes :O can you do the exact same mission on every marauder and maybe also Rattle , so that we can compare them? Maybe also with an angel extrav , and some bloodraider/sansha stuff, so we can sum up all the timers and make a top 5 list for the best "overall L4 Mission" runner?

Yup you can do the mission in other maruaders, paladin seems good too though I think the golem is a bit better due to damage type. Definintely plan on showing the other missions too ;)

Short range missile platforms don't have a t2 high accuracy ammo. Javelin is purely range, it doesn't have better application. If you want application use faction missiles. imgur.com/DRYalSw

Golem is the best mission runner for sure Missiles are just great because it does not matter what range your target is They work with in this case between 0 and 50km no switching ammo for range just applying your dps Also shields feel stronger as tank IMO When activated it is repped where armor reps at the end of its cycle The lows can be used for full damage For your cpu you can try cruise, with the T2 the damage is quite high and the choice for T2 precision ammo will make quick work of those buzzers even more so I like the paladin too but when angels come under your weapons the 2.7k dps does not apply very well Cya in game o7

yeah I did this recently in a paladin - hah 2.x s per shot - I do mostly EM damage (the worst vs these guys) and I did the mission faster than this - that's why people like paladin. My ammo's cost was some percentage damage to 4 scorch crystals (I hate to think how much do the torps cost for the golem), and small ships all died in 1 shot. So yeah pallie is the best for npcs.

This 2.5+ bil loot pinyata not worth it. Seriously DPS is asmazinig but when you get suicided (just cuz blowing only hull which worth ~2bil is much fun) - your impression instantly turns into depression.

I like the Golem because im skilled in rockets and i dont like the other weapon types exept the triglavian weapons

In 2016, I tried the golem, went back to the rattlesnake. I guess things have changed meanwhile. Anyway, back at the time, I went for 2 rattlesnakes spider tanking... or rather, spider capping. With the cap from another rattle, the one taking aggro was able to run the X-large booster a lot (don't remember if it was cap stable, it was comfortable enough to leave it on for minutes - NPCs come in waves, so when finishing off a wave you can turn it off to replenish the capacitor). Of course, 2 accounts, 2 clients, 4 or 6 targets to manage (I used to split launchers too... so for each BS you have target 1 for missile, target 2 for missiles, targer 3 for drones)... a lot of micromanagement, especially if you care about efficiency... this can be reduced to 3 targets to manage if you assign drones to one BS and keep 1 launcher group on both. Nice video BTW.

I was using 2 rattlesnakes with auto targeting cruise and Caldari wardens. A completely passive playstyle.

Managed to get my Golem to a tasty 3.3k dps with 101k ehp, thing is a beast with 62km range Rage's. My favourite ship to fly atm ^.^

Please don't take a 2B plus fitted ship into .5 on Tranquility. It just feeds Code. glory kills.

I never have problems in lvl 4 missions in my tengu. It only does 1100 dps but it almost has 100% application.

It reminds me of berfore nerf hammer the cnr it was just as badass an could destroy anything. But those where the days torps had 200k range

Still my favorite ship, no regrets getting it to mastery V. I think every Golem i own is around 2-3 billion and that's having around 20 of them. they are insane with rage torpedoes doing around 10k a volley

What were the torpedo buffs? I have not played in a very long time lol.

I am sure a pPaxis would die in this Mission together with all T1 BS with only One Normal Shield Booster even a Abysal Shield Booster would run out by this fire power. But use a Shield Booster that is more worth than a T1 BS just to be able to do tgis mission ?

i run it in a praxis = passive shield w/ rapid heavys using precision missiles is pretty easy (not super fast = but never in any danger)

Also a piece of cake in a strategic cruiser: quicker travel between systems, much better align times and far less gank pressure.

I've been out of Eve for around 5 years, for L4 missions, is the Tengu still relevant and considered a top tier PVE ship ?. Because I've got so many T2 ships and equipment I can't use unless I upgrade my account to a Omega.

the tengu is very popular for low-sec / nullsec DED sites because of how much damage it does and how it can be very sneaky unlike battleships. Me personally i dont have much experience in t3 cruisers, but tengu definitely is popular as a pve platform. T2 ships like maruaders are very good for misisons, some HACs are good for abyss but tbh the gila is just fine.

Why are no resists in the fit? You know resists exist right?

so..Golem or Paladin thats a question ? :p

i just do this in a tengu and eat the mission in 5 min
