Whenever she says "No" she reminds me of her "Noooaaauuuurrr" huehue. She did great.

If you compare her face with Eve's, you will notice a strong resemblance. The similarity is so strong that I believe Hanssen was scanned as the face model.

@@alexdhamp The Korean voice actress gave way more feeling to her lines and the contrast between voices is better in Korean. Hanssen has some talent but didn't care at all for her delivery, she was there to grab a bag of money. Such lazy performances makes me not wanting to play games voiced by lazy British actors. The game is Korean and the Korean voice is how it was intended to be. When you Posh British accent know that the voice actors were cheap, lazy or both

I love her accent. She brings that Lara Croft vibe into the game, and Lara is one of the sexy icons in gaming.

I’ve always had a major obsession with English accents and hers is incredible. She did so well with Eve, I really do hope a sequel happens some day. Edit: guys I meant her English accent for Eve, not in this video

She's Scottish but I'm English so hear the difference easier due to we notice accents n dialects even down to areas of within 50 miles we can tell the differences, I understand to rest of world many may sound alike.

@@ScoopDogg I could definitely tell the difference that she doesn't naturally have her "EVE voice," but I am curious about one thing. Can English tell when a Scottish person is putting on an English accent? When you hear EVE, does it just sound like an imitating accent or does it sound legit? I figure it's kind of like a U.S./Canada thing, where there can be distinct differences, but usually one can copy the other pretty well if they're good with accents.

Rebecca seems like such a sweet person and was PERFECT as Eve 😁 this game was phenomenal and ended up being my personal GOTY from what I’ve played so far this year. The combat, music, and exploration were all absolutely peak, and the devs out so much heart into it (NG+, boss rush mode, over 70 outfits, etc.) 🤩

Knowing she voiced eve makes the game even better for me. Rebecca is amazing. And I Love her enthusiasm towards the game despite all the controversy. You can tell she really had fun voicing eve

@@xviper2kIt was jarring until I got used to it. The only reason it was jarring is because I’m used to hearing American accents from Asian characters instead of British accents. If it was the other way around, I’d find the American accent jarring.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was my game of the year, after playing this game and now on my second playthrough, I just don't know its so tough, I truly believe this game deserves GOTY nomination and that Eve deserves recognition as one of the new best Heroines in all of gaming.

I actually love Eves stoic voice in the game

I'm absolutely surprised they asked her to bring it down a few notches for the combat efforts because honestly - the efforts that were in the game during a lot of the boss-kill or cut-scene driven combat had this absolutely raw and stunning grit to them. She already sounded like she was screaming her head off as she decapitated something and that was LESS than what she was originally giving them?? Holy cow!

I loved her voice for Eve. The game was 100% worth the playthrough.

The fact that this is Rebecca's first Main Character VA Debut, is very special. Just like Ben Starr did his first Main Character VA Debut as Clive Rossfield (remind you, he wasn't their first choice but in the end, he was the one chosen at the end). British VA-ing can almost surpass the Western VA-ing, They just do it professionally

I kept thinking, very fondly, during my playthrough of stellar blade that the voice actress was giving a performance very reminiscent of Jonell Elliot’s performance of Lara Croft in TR:Angel of Darkness. my favorite iteration of the franchise to be precise

It's really refreshing to meet a woman who is both beautiful and cool. To not have to hear any whining about being offended like some Twitter thought cop. I just hope the industry doesn't get in her head because she's lovely. I am also glad it's her voice. I was really worried that being a Korean game, they were going to give their characters those typical adults with baby voices you come across in anime games, I've always found those female voices to be repulsive. It really is great that her voice is the voice of EVE.
