Amazing talent. Classically trained pianist. Started writing poetry when she was 10 years old. That explains her lyrics. As you say her voice is fantastic but, in my opinion, it's her talent as a performer that completes the story. Awesome. Who could fail to be mesmerised.😊😊

Great reaction. 😊❤ I first heard this song when I was in my 20s way back in 2007 lol... I didn't know what it was about then.. I just loved the music to it.. But I think it's fair to say its referencing mental health.. Possibly.. I seem to have a connection to darker songs like this with a deep meaning and heavy guitars and stuff. Also a band that has quite a few darker songs is Depeche Mode, they have been around since the early 80s and have gone strong up until recently. They have a techno/E.D.M kind of vibe. Nice request this! I love when people (like i do) bring forward also the lesser requested,hidden gems of bands. This is one of them,and a song that came alive after Amy Lee got Terry Balsamo with her as a guitarist. (Yes,as i have mentioned before,its the one with the long dreadlocks that you all love soo much) I might have one song or 2 in mind,where you get to see Amy and Terry rock out together,swinging theyr hair.

You didn't mention it and so I think you missed the meaning of the song. Lithium is what is prescribed to treat bipolar disorder (a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs and depression). All the lyrics are about how the side effect of the medication is suppressing her true personality and feelings and making her numb.
