Only two men to unify at cruiser then unify at heavyweight. Holyfield has to be one of Usyk’s heroes. I’m sure that pre-fight visit meant a lot to Usyk. And nobody alive is more associated with the unified heavyweight title than Holyfield. This was the first unified championship heavyweight bout in 34 years that Holyfield didn’t fight in 😆 in the 90s when they were trading the unified championship around, or breaking it when reunifying it, Holyfield was in every single one of those fights (other than Tyson-Douglas).

Usyk is a pressure fighter through and through. He has the ability to make his opponent go backwards without spending much energy. Canelo is similar. I feel his biggest asset, apart from being an insane athlete, is his mind. He is just always calm. All the lead up to the fight. Nothing phases him. Even when he gets hurt in the ring, he doesn’t panic. Still goes forward and pressures. Amazing accuracy and more power than he is given credit for. One of the greats

Yes fantastic notice man. Boxing fans think Canelo is a pure counterpuncher, but he’s really a pressure fighter who counters. This is why he looks his worst when bigger guys push him back-- why he struggled with Munguia at spurts, GGG, and why he avoids Benavidez. Also fans really overlook that Lomachenko and Usyk are really just stylish pressure fighters. They don’t fight like Mexicans, but they constantly counter off of the front foot, and apply mental variables that the opponents can’t handle, and capitalize on their mistakes constantly. Usyk particular does it with a pawing lead hand that he throws over and under the opponent, so they don’t see his punches coming-- Especially when he lines up his overhand left.

Aye, all I've seen so far is Uysk fans saying he battered Fury. Must have been watching a different fight to me then. Because until that punch which cut Fury under his lef eye, Fury was in charge. He didn't win the fight as round 8 killed him, but if a rematch takes place, Fury, if he bins his corner and his lowlife family, just trains and doesn't have yes man around him, can win. Usyk showed he can take a huge punch though as Fury rocked him a couple of times.

I agree,John is a distraction at best, you have faith and take direction from your trainer, tge rest is confusion and noise. Johns Theatrics and mentallity, before and during the fight, just detract from Tysins ability. Tyson did his best in Vegas against Wilder(John cannot get a visa to the USA) and during Johns prison time. He was not a World champion, nor is he a world champion trainer(based on Tommys performances) First with Francis, and now this fight. It is obvious,he lead to Ben Davison being dismissed, and a rift with Hughie Fury(a good trainer) He is a good father, but wants to be Tyson, and does not fully understand the level.

Both fighters put up a great fight .. .. Usyk fought harder, fought better, deserved the win and he won in brilliant fashion .. .. That shit leading up to the fight was a disgrace and if I were in Tyson Fury's position I would make a sincere apology .. .. It also seemed to be such a display of modern day, bright light, fuckin' celebrity arse junk and it wouldn't surprise me if it was all just staged for publicity .. ..That doesn't mean that Tyson Fury isn't a great fighter .. .. It's hardly as if he just lay down like a chump and took a beating .. .. He was standing at the final bell, it was close but clearly a Usyk win, that judge who favoured Fury was wrong but, the decision went to the right fighter .. .. .. .. But who the fuck are any of us, typing shit on here to say something like you just said about Tyson Fury .. .. Seriously, is that how you honestly view Tyson Fury, because if you are correct in your opinion, then what the fuck does that make the rest of us?
