Evample is the only player I see consistently using preflips/flips and cancels to position his car or for car control in general, not just for movement.

I main KBM and whenever someone says I have a disadvantage I point at Evample vids…

The one important thing I learned from Evample is, to just stay calm, I mean even if he is messing up, he is still laughing, copied + pasted that mentality

evample was or probably is still the best ground player. the fancy ground control he has is years ahead. many ppl can do those resets etc, but the consistency on the ground os what lets him stamd out. specially for his most famous stuff already beeing a few years old

There is a certain reason behind why I've been subbed for years to this guy. You can watch one of his videos, and in the span of 30 mins become a literal god. Edit: I forgot to mention that he also does mostly ranked and I've almost never seen him do casual. A lot of these players are from his ranked matches, which can be GC2-SSL, which is just wild to me.

Yo, big love to evample, been following him pretty much right from the start of his YT career. And not just some of these clips are ranked, at least 90% of them are. What I appreciate the most about his playstyle, is his ability to quickly adapt to any situation in the weirdest, most creative and effective ways possible, while still making it look clean at the end.

He's mainly a weekly upload guy so keep that in mind

I'm NOT saying KBM is better/superior to controller, but it is 100% true there are certain things that are impossible or VERY hard on controller that are easy on KBM. I believe a lot of Evample's style is due to KBM, if he played on controller instead - sure he would still be just as good, if not better - but I believe his style wouldn't look like what it does now. Being able to switch direction INSTANTLY (impossible on controller), easy stalls, 4 cardinal directions with ease/without deadzone and of course digital inputs (no analogue like controller) all make for the GOAT that is Evample

craxy how evample is such a good mechanical player and yet has no mechanic named after him!! hes mastered almost every mechanic in the game and can even use them in combination perfectly. i wish there was an evample flick or reset lol

I think Evample was the creator that brought me into RL and then i saw one of his Typing Shots. And i was on Controller and i was like: i wanna replicate that. Sure thing a bit of practice later. i hit it, but its so damn hard. i hit it a few times over about 3k hours. my best try was the "chicken burger" shot. and i can only type so long ofc, because i need to lay down my controller, type, then pick it up again and finish the shot. i like that clip over my other clips. Might try to replicate it again. ioh dear. evample is such a great creator and player. i loved and still love to watch his FTSSL Series

I swear pulse had a ground control custom map that they played through it had like 20 levels or something and a set amount of time to do it or atleast see how far they could get - I think a few made it to lvl 11 or something one or two to 15, evample finished the map ordered food, received food and ate food or something like that with time to spare. The guys a joke haha. I dont play much anymore at all but i still watch evample.

8:45 I don't think it's a kbm thing tbh cause lots of mechy kbm players don't look like this. It's more that he's just developed a specific movement style over time that's just so hard to artificially replicate. Like it's so easy to realize you're watching Evample just by how he moves, even if you compare him to other extremely high level kbm freestylers or players. in fact, because of how the inputs work in rl, you can theoreticall do anything a kbm player can do on controller but a kbm player can't do everything a controller player can.
