Discuss risk factors for DDH meriting selective ultrasound screening, appropriate timing and reason or screening with expectant and new parents.
Describe key elements of infant hip exam (e.g. Barlow/Ortolani maneuvers and Klisic test) and findings reflective of DDH.
Describe signs of late-presenting DDH in the ambulatory patient.
Describe anticipatory guidance for families of newborns on healthy hip swaddling.
Discuss general treatment strategies and success of nonoperative treatment in infants diagnosed with DDH.
