Also, Annie Lennox had (and has) such an unusual look, I wasn't sure if I was attracted or repulsed by her. After all these ytears, I've concluded that I was dumb to be confused. Definitely attraction. She is amazing, and Dave can play practically every instrument known to Man. Dream Team Supreme.

The Eurythmics was one of the best bands in the 80's without much competition really. Obviously the 80's had a lot to offer with a ton of amazing bands, but there was only one Eurythmics, Yazoo came close and so did Erasure but Dave and Annie were the King and Queen of synth pop. Annie has indeed the most amazing eyes, and she oozed sex-appeal. You really should check out a lot more of their music, they will blow you away. PS. Dave Steward and Annie Lennox were The Eurythmics, no need for their names so to speak, Eurythmics is them, they are Eurythmics :) (Pronounced Eur- Ryth- mics) Thnx for the upload Jamel :D

I found my old notebook and had seen the Eurythmics on Aug. 6, 1984 at the Mann Music Center in Philly. They did "Sweet Dreams" live and it was great. When Annie and Dave came out, she saw that the crowd was all sprawled out on the grass in the park knoll and asked us to move in closer, which we did. I thought that was cool.

The Eurythmics were one of the premiere New Wave/Pop fusion bands of the 80's... this song being perhaps their biggest success. The video is very much the sort of avante garde production associated with many New Wave acts of the time. Probably one of the most instantly recognizable songs of the era, those of us who grew up with it will instantly recognize it within the first two notes. It was a dance standard of the early 80's.

A fantastic rabbit hole to go down, this duo was one of the pioneers of synthesized Britpop sound that came out of the punk era in the late 1970s. They became a bit too mainstream towards the end of the 1980s, but their sound was so freaking awesome to listen to early on. And yes Annie Lennox's eyes are amazing lol..

I saw them play this in 1983 at Keele, England, in front of a tiny audience, so small I could walk right in front of the stage halfway through the gig. The stage was maybe 2ft high. They were amazing. I saw more bands that year than any other before or since and they were probably the best.
