In 2022 we had 34% of the songs in the countries native language, in 2023 we had 32%, and in 2024 we got 43%!!! And it's absolutely beautiful! 👏 Eurovision is going back into a wonderful direction, full of different cultures, diversities and languages, which represents us, Europeans!🥰

It was just a contest of which country sent the best Radio Banger. Native songs barely made it into the finals or barely got points.. (remember Ukraine 2021)

So, after sampling all of these 3 times, and picking the ones I like best, and sampling a longer version of the songs, the best one was Edie Golan. There were several others I will buy, if they’re available, but I’m surprised at many of the higher ranking choices. There were some generic, some, to me, boring, but, I will say-quite a few very talented singers.

About time we had a worldvision with every nation taking part if they wanted to . Imagine the variety of music

Nice to hear some countries singing in their original language. Pity that some countries have to sing in English to make a mark. It does not represent them. Either everyone should sing in English, or all in their own languages, which I think is more fun. Just my opinion.

I want to cry with happiness, seeing such a pure concentration of various represented languages, cultures and musical styles this year! Everyone may surely find something to their taste. Good luck to all participants from Ukraine! Though Belgium, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Azerbaijan, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Serbia have already occupied a special spot in my heart, things may still change with the start of rehearsals, so that's exciting.

I stopped following Eurovision years ago but these are all bangers I've added so many of them to my playlist

Maybe if Germany had some male performers in thongs and lipstick, that would have scored some extra points. It really would have brought out his voice more.
