This semi final is actually so good. I can’t wait for next Thursday! As for today, Georgia was by far my favourite. The clip was so good! Hoping this is the year Georgia breaks their NQ streak, they deserve it. I also really liked Norway and I’m glad it wasn’t changed from the national final. Also, Netherlands are definitely hiding something.

I really dont know what happend to Joost. Hé was hyping up the dutch news so hard that his performance was good but after seeing this im not sure anymore.

1. Georgia (I really don't like the song but the staging is simply amazing) 2. Estonia (am I biased? yes. is the staging good? also yes. though I wish they would keep their pre-party outfits and have a bit more energy today) 3. Norway (it's like their nf performance and I'm here for it) 4. San Marino (pretty cool) 5. Greece (looks better in the video than in the photos) 6. Austria (pretty good, though dancebreak seems to be less energetic than I've expected) 7. Armenia (love the staging, though Ladaniva were too calm for a song like this) 8. Malta (I don't like the song but I think the performance will be great) 9. Belgium (that's nice, I don't have anything else to say) 10. My opinions on today rehearsals (sorry for copy paste but not retyping): Latvia: Honestly i think they have done as much as they could but it is very forgettable and i believe a NQ. Pretty lighting tho Sam Marino: As much as i do not like the song i think the staging is great especially for a small country like san marino. Dancers seem great and visuals are cool. Georgia: WOW. Just Wow. Genuinely left me speechless it may even have top 10 potential here icl. Dancing amazing, visuals beautiful, everything 10/10 Belgium: Kimda torn. I think the microhone cirlce is great however i feel the performance will get a bit boring hiwever the ending is just how i imagined it. Brilliant Estonia: So disappointing 😢. I expected so much more but it seems liek a glorified version of the NF. They could at least have some of them elevated like they did in some performances but this just seems bland Norway: I thought they really couldnt get elevate the NF staging anymore but i was proven wrong. Her outfit is insane and the whole vibe is perfect Netherlands: There isnt much to comment on. Obviously they are strategically hiding most of the staging and im so excited for it

Hearing The Netherlands' in performance just puts a smile on my face every time, also I actually like the bird even if it turns Joost is trolling us. Georgia is qualifying, we all knew this before but oh my goodness she's an incredible live performer! Vocals too! I still enjoy Latvia, and it's the best variant of their staging we've seen, but in such a strong semi I feel they'll likely get overshadowed. Realistically Israel will probably qualify, if only because of Eden's vocals. To me the dancing doesn't fit the theme of the song (it looks quite upbeat?) plus the lyrics don't make sense, but I've seen a lot of love amongst casual viewers for this (and again her vocals are really good) so it could go either way. I still want San Marino to qualify, honestly, I enjoy the song, they're putting on a good stage show, and vocally sounding much cleaner now, plus there isn't really anything else rocky in the semi besides Norway. ^on that note Norway was amazing, they didn't need to change anything and I've no worries about them going through. I like Belgium's staging with the microphone stands, it's very reminiscent of the mood they had going in the mv. I will admit I'm a little worried about his vocal delivery but I don't think it will knock his qualification chances (the televote has put way worse vocalists through before). And of course I'm still rooting for Estonia to go through, it's looking and sounding good so far, the camerawork will give a better idea. So no disappointments from the rehearsals today for me, I'm just mentally preparing to loose some favourites next Thursday...
