Before the show I might have agreed with you, but I think Tali had the best combination and staging. The "whole package", if you know what I mean.

Making that kind of alternative pop music is really hard, and Krick (with other musicians obviously) has taken the risk to make a song like that, knowing she could waste her opportunity to get into Eurovision. Then when she revealed it, it turned out that the song sounded really good too, but it had its issues: the song is too short so the tension escalates too quickly and the 2 times the chorus repeats are longer than the rest of the song. Also, the staging was so terrible and effortless, while Tali had a catchy performance with a simple song that could be understood by everyone. The song was about encouraging someone to keep always fighting (if I understood it in the right way), and that's a really safe argument to get some points from the jury. In the end I think that Tali had a good song, but I don't understand why the jury gave way less point to Krick, when her song is way more original and deep, things that juries should reward.

OMG, if we had sent Geolier... I'm not a big fan of Angelina, but she is way better than Geolier (nothing against him, I sometimes listen to "I' p' me, tu p' te", but I think that was one the least adapt for Eurovision we had this year)

I absolutely agree with you. Geolier's song is great, but definitely not for Eurovision. It might've been the lowest place for Italy since a long time

i'm glad the real winners won, because if these other songs won this eurovision would be way worse

The only 2nd placers I'm actually pissed off that didn't get sent to Eurovision over the actual winner are Geolier, Bashar, St. Pedro and that one guy from Albania. Otherwise, biggest crime of the year has to go to Germany for not sending Oh Boy (even tho Isaaks song is also pretty good but highly uncompetitive)

I'm still pissed off that Justyna lost to Luna. I still support Luna of course and I wish her best but imo. Justyna was on another level and would fit more in this year's eurovision - The Tower is too generic, it'll be forgotten

Ollie, Keiino, Ailsha, Joao, St. Pedro, Medina - they all hurt (especially Ollie, 2nd year in a row he brought a f*cking masterpiece and didn't make it!), but I like the alternatives, at least. However, Czechia messed up the most for me, by choosing one of the two worst performances, while having Elly with a good song and vocals and MYDY with every aspect on ESC top 15 level. MESC managed to have a weak NF once again, but eliminate my winner and only great song in semis ("Bewsa"). Also, a very unpopular opinion, but I strongly prefer "Place I Call Home" to "Maria & Teresa". It's just much more my type of music and I really connect to the song and live performance, while I can't say the same about "Maria & Teresa".
I love Keiino, I really hope 2021 Keiino would return with Monument, but this year Gate deserve to win

Sigga Ozk should have gone for Iceland, Aura Dione for Denmark, Ryk for Germany , Maria Sur for Sweden, Keiino for Norway, ERBA' for Malta, La Rua for San Marino, St. Pedro for Spain (he wouldve got lots of jury votes) & although i like La Noia - Annalisa for Italy .

Quite glad we got Tali as opposed to Krick. It’s a good song for sure, but it loses points for being all in English with me. Either would be good. There is really no point in being upset about the outcome.
