At the beginning I was happy that Ukraine won instead of Australia, but after this video, I feel disappointed towards Jamala, she completely violate one of the values of Eurovision, that is the value that the contest is about music, not politics. And now, I rather listen to Dami's Sound of Silence (she performed that again in Australia decide 2019) rather than 1944!

She should have said Russia. XXXDDDDD Imagine Jamala's face... XD

Maybe she should not spend so much time making money in Russia, which wages war in Ukraine, and she would not be confused.

Look, I enjoy listening to Eurovision songs, especially from Jamala, Maruv, etc., but that question was absolutely unnecessary. If it was an uncomfortable question, why ask it anyway? Haven't the broadcasters learned anything what Eurovision is all about? It's a song contest for crying out loud! It should be fun, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. It shouldn't be used for political purposes. Honestly, I'm so disappointed in UA:PBC. To not allow Maruv's improvisation on stage, to not give her financial compensation for the competition, and to not pay for her trip to Tel Aviv is absolutely uncalled for. Those restrictions in that contract are crazy! Maruv deserves way better than this.

Julia broke the law and was banned IN THE COUNTRY. I think she was allowed to sing via stream. I mean, you cannot bend country's law for so some silly little law breaker can sing in eurovision.

I know its a difficult situation in ukraine, but I dont support a country in which the democratic choosen artist have to constist a kind of conscience test before she is allowed to take part. This is not okay and unworthy for eurovision. Greetings from Germany.

This is you winner Europe , that ... Jamala won and Sergey lost just because political interest.

I really liked Jamalas win but I lost all the respect for her after this. So sad for Maruv, she would be placed so high..

Shame on you, Jamala! Eurovision must be Music, not Politics. That question was completely unnecessary. 😑

@@rosasuarez1 comparar Ucrania con españa es ademas de absurdo, demagogico. Dime en que se parecen en ese sentido. Crimea fue anexionada por Rusia por problemas politicos de ambos bandos. Ctaaluña se quiere marchar de España porque españa es un pais fascista que definde una falsa unidad heredada de una dictadura cuando no existe en un país donde no hay mas que pueblos diferentes

I don’t see the issue she was pretending to be a journalist that asks difficult questions! She was giving an example of what sort of questions you may receive!

I feel sorry for Maruv Her Face expression tells you .. what kind of Question is that Don't force me ...

I personally never really liked jamala or the fact that she won in 2016. She was always that political, people just didn't really seem to notice that back then. I mean, c'mon you have to admit that 1944 was totally inspired off the crimea crisis ...(i know the song is about something else but still..how CONVENIENT)
