Hi. I'm from Denmark. The song is inspired by the fabel of a pacifistic viking, who chose peace instead of war and fight. To use this song in a movie when viking warriors goes to battle would be a little ironic, though.

Nice review Natalia. But it's actually a song about peace, not a war song. Pay attention to the lyrics. It took me a few listens to actually pay attention to what the song was about. The message is beautiful.

I agree with you, it's a fantastic going into battle song "men laying down their swords, etch of their own accord". who would not just go, "aaaaaaaaaaaa! let's go kill stuff!" after hearing that.

Yup, when I saw Rasmussen I thought of Tormund as well, but when I heard the song I thought of Bjorn from Vikings :D Can't wait you to react to Serbian song this year, we have a really good entry :)

Wow, what an epic song (as I haven't seen any of this Games Of Thrones stuff) I get a more Lord Of The Rings/The Hobbit vibe from this song. This could be a major contender. ESC looking very good and I can't wait for the competition to begin.

Omg Got AND The last Airbender, I wanna be like best friends with you. I really like the song because it reminds of Game of Thrones as well but the Majority doesn't seem to enjoy it as much. I hope this turns out to be a dark horse.

Yeah, don't forget that what I'm filming is the very first time I'm hearing the song, so my brain is working super hard to take EVERYTHING in (visually and sonically), process all the information and then give a balanced opinion at the end. I'll always miss certain elements especially if it's not immediately apparent on the first listen (I'm only human after all!). Thanks for your comment though. I love this song! I'm from Sweden & read that Christer Björkman who holds the Swedish Song Contest had ratified this song because it was supposed to compete in Melodifestivalen. This year's melody festival in Sweden is boring and a disaster!
