I think Sweden, Belgium, Australia, maybe Azerbaijan and Armenia will qualify. I also think that Portugal and Finland will qualify even though I don't really like those songs (not my cup of tee) I would like Albania to qualify, and Poland of course because it is my country 😎❤

DDRaven Theres no alternative unless Belgium surprises. Portugal performs last in its half for a reason xD. Salvador is by far the strongest artist on stage in that semi.

Belgium? No way! She's very weak live and the song don't work so well in stage, besides this, the song is "greatly influenced by Alexe"....Not very original, juries may smash it! Watch the pre-party shows and you will see. You will see that Blanche is a studio product. She failed lot of notes. The alto voice completily diferent, almost gone. She hardly moves in stage. I'm afraid belgium could be this semi fiasco! That's the surprise! Huge diference in charisma as well. Salvador is a star. She very young and she gets nervous, I think she really can't match with Salvador! Cheers!

don't understand why people keep saying Portugal won't qualify. Not only the song is a masterpiece but also is in the #4 in the betting odds, it's one of the favs to win! The juries are gonna give a lot of points and there are a lot of people supporting this song! Its a top 3 song, it's such a beautiful song! Stop hating

I'm very surprised that you completely write off Cyprus. It's one of my Top 3 but I understand why it's not wildly popular. However I still think the production value, Thomas G:son's name (Sweden is voting), and Greece being here too are all good enough to give it a chance

The magnificent song of Portugal due to its great quality, should not pass in any way unnoticed mainly of the national juries, and I am almost certain that it will be present in the Final. And being in the Final and Salvador Sobral singing it (it may not be due to his health problems) and being at his best, I hope in a good classification who knows until the victory, which for me would be no surprise, but a huge joy.

People, if Portugal will or not qualify WE DON'T KNOW TILL THE DAY! So, please stop commenting like "Portugal will not qualify". I don't like Greece entry and I'm not saying "Greece will not qualify" all over the place...Whatever happens, Portugal is happy with this song.

Has some chances of qualifying: - Montenegro (juries will hate this, but if Serhat can come 12th in a though semi, this could surprise as well) - Finland ( maybe it will come to live on stage, at the moment I think there are stronger ballads and it's a bit forgettable) - Greece ( I absolutely hate this: every year there's a song that the fans seem to like, but I hate and then fails (Icebreaker, Unbroken) The juries will mark this down of the atrocious lyrics and beat, it wants to be a hit like Euphoria but it's not... Ahhhh i have to play this game lol So the songs i would like to go through (in order of appearance ): Georgia (what a voice) Australia (nice song and everyone likes those nice guys down under) Albania (also a great voice and intense lyrics) Belgium (great modern song) Montenegro (dancing) Finland (beautiful song) Portugal (my country - beautiful song too) Greece (more dancing ) Armenia (i did not like it at first but i like it now) Latvia (fun) Of course not for a minute do i believe that Sweden and Azerbaijan arent going through, so i think Montenegro and Albania are staying behind. One last comment to say that it s already a big win to see so many people believing a small country with only one neighbor, not a great track record and an "old fashioned song" will go through to the final. =)

this is honestly one of the better years and it is really hard for me to make up who'll qualify from both semi finals. i don't think that there's a strong nor weak semi final this year. they all bring it

For me Sweden, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium and Greece will qualify for sure. Then Portugal will be loved by juries, but not by people (he wasn't even the most voted in his country), Finland (has Sweden and Iceland voting in the semi, it's done for them), Australia (EBU's baby, and song will be probably elevated by staging), and the last two spots, in my opinion would be for Poland (big diaspora and big voice) and Montenegro who brings freak point this year. Is no my taste, I would prefer Latvia and Cyprus instead most of them but I have to be realistic.

I actually can see Poland and Greece not qualifying! (Same goes for Latvia, but I love Latvia's song) I would say: Sweden Belgium Portugal Armenia Australia Azerbaijan Moldova Latvia Finland Albania

I thing that Sweden, Australia, Belgium, Finland, Azerbaijan, Portugal will defineatly qualify. Moldova, Greece, Iceland and Latvia probably too, but they are not so certain, because there is Armenia and Poland, who may take one of these places. But i think that no way are we going to see Georgia, Albania, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Cyprus or Slovenia in the final.

My top 10 prediction ( not personal preference) for SF1 in random order: 1. Sweden 2. Belgium 3. Greece 4. Portugal 5. Poland 6. Latvia 7. Azerbaijan 8. Armenia 9. Australia 10. ? I feel like the first 9 are dead certain to qualify because of either history, diaspora and/or song quality, everyone else will be battling for that last spot in my opinion

Armenia Australia and Azerbaijan are in 6th 7th and 8th place in the overall betting odds. I really have no doubt at all that these three country will go through

guys, Azerbaijan is a SURE qualifier, even if none of us like it. Seriously. Check previous years....

There are so many good songs this year! Both semi-finals will be blood baths. I think for Semi 1 Sweden, Australia, Azerbaijan, Poland & Armenia will defiantly qualify for the final. Belgium & Portugal too if they manage to get the staging right. That just leaves room for two... probably Greece and someone else. It's so tough :(
