Even if you know nothing about martial arts, this is amazing to watch. That spin elbow kick blew my mind, never seen that before.

These two Muay Thai monsters were dishing out more elbows than the macaroni section. Awesome fight!

That's what I love about Muay Thai. It goes against size perceptions and just trains you to be a full on warrior, using all of your body

@@ThePeacePlant It's a very powerful style because it focuses on aggressive offence instead of generic defence and as such requires extreme physical toughness which huge muscles won't bring

I've got something like 60lbs on my coach and in terms of skill the difference is laughable... But in a bar fight I'd just run at him and overpower him. Skill overcomes a lot of weight discrepancy but not all of it, especially without something like jiu jitsu or wrestling

I felt powerful vibes when Sam A showed respect and lifted Haggertys arm as the champion. Thats how you end the battle the right way. Both are winners in IMHO.

A brutal fight... Tremendous effort by both, all my respect.

1st round (of the rematch) haggerty vs. rodtang is also worthy to be shown. really admire haggertys clean and sharp technique especially his push kick and stance switches or elbows

Yeah probably why Sam-A didn't rush him in the 5th. Haggerty is scary for being able to survive that storm AND drop him in the next round. Plus Sam looked a little tired in the 5th, too, must've used up a lot of fuel in the 4th.

All stage fights are slow not like on the street fights. Street fights have no rule and you can terminate the guy quicker.

dang he feels pretty, that dude with all the bowties.. but wicked fight by both fellows, it was the two knockdowns that rain on the other dude's parade, and resulted in a fair win...without those, I would have scored it for the org champ with a little margin.

Pretty? That tradition came from Thai culture. Men who went to war would wrap a piece of their mothers clothing or hair around their arms so they would come home ok. That superstition got passed onto to Muay Thai.
