The Czechs would be more suitable for announcing to all and sundry how they were attacked, ignoring the fact that they themselves took this area by force when Poland was struggling with the Bolsheviks (violating the local agreement). @@nameunknown6453 Here is a very brief summary of the events (everyone can update this): Portugal's Royal Family Flees Napoleon and goes to Brazil 1808 > Family Vacation until Napoleon is gone > Royals overstays their welcome (after Napoleon loses) and upgrades Brazil to a Kingdom (creating the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves) ruling from Brazil > The portuguese becomes Very unhappy with that arrangement > The King goes back but leave the Prince to rule > Liberals take over Portugal and tries to revert Brazil to a colony > Brazilians and the Prince are not happy > The prince declares independence and Brazil becomes an Empire. Also to note: 1. the Prince, after screwing most of the brazilian aristocracy became quite unpopular, then returned to Portugual, took the throne, left his son to rule Brazil and won a civil war. 2. Wouldn't say that Portugal became a colony... I would say they became more like a "Branch" but that isn't as funny.
