It was a great lesson, but I am absolutely not able to get into the correct timing. I tend to have the beat on the first note of the arpeggio, and no matter what I try, I cannot fit the 5 circles in 4 measures, even in the slowest tempo. Maybe it is even worse slow ...

2 down strokes then a pull off mostly

Why put and remove the middle finger of the left hand in the part of the fast pull off's? Isn't it easier to leave the index finger fixed?
