Europe Migrants Crisis: Croatia sends over 200,000 refugees back to Serbia
Croatia has sent back over two hundred migrants to Serbia. The 217 people were refused entry into the country after Slovenia turned them back to Croatia. The group is now at a UNHCR centre in a border town of Sid in Serbia.
Raquel Trabazo, UNHCR Protection Officer:
"We have around 200 persons, between them are women, children, they are from several nationalities, including Syrians, Iraqis, Afghanis, some Iranians, Pakistanis. The reasons why they were sent back are not clear, but they are now waiting for the next steps."
Serbia's interior ministry spokesperson says the migrants will have to return to their respective countries since "they are not refugees from war-affected areas".
Those among the migrants in the group say they have nowhere else to go to and want to live in Croatia.
Zuhra, Migrant from Afghanistan:
"We don't want to go to any country, we want to live in Croatia, but they told us, their police, the police pushed us to train, [saying] 'You have to, you must go to train'."
According to the UNHCR over 80, 000 migrants have arrived in Europe since the start of 2016. More than four hundred have died trying to cross the Mediterranean sea.

Mafioso not in Canada. We have immigration laws but they are being circumvented like in the U.S.

ice water what a surprise. Come to Canada, free housing, food, education, health care, welfare check, Canadian citizenship in time to vote for their god Justin Trudeau in 2019. While homeless freeze in this cold winter on the streets of Canadian cities. Then again , they should get a job, right? No wonder people start to resent muslims. Great life if you can get it. And Christians in the middle East that these people care so much about?

Croatia is a muslim country and send these "refugees" muslims to Christian Serbia and not to their countries!?!? By the way, the girl says they will be deported to "refugees" 'countries as they are not in war. Why the title is diffrent?
