Michael We did a similar trip this summer - Amsterdam, Munich, Venice, Rome, Cinque, Paris, London - 3 weeks - unbelievable - travelling on trains - food was fantastic - all of the cities were great and your video really captures it - nothing better than a beer and sausage at the englisher garden in Munich - cheers.
This was put together incredibly!
Well done gentlemen. You guys are going to do well in life and was sure fun to enjoy you trip. Well Done!!

Brilliant video! Very insightful and inspiring and the editing is great! Made me even more excited to travel now
Great, thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
This is awesome. Thanks for the post. Great vid, and great editing. Hitting up most of these spots during this summer. Planning a trip around a month as well.
This video is absolutely amazing! The music and your humbleness about different cultures you made every place look amazing, and it was very enjoyable to watch. In fact the best travel video I have ever seen. Fantastic job! Congratulations! I hope and wish I can do this journey someday. :)
GREAT VIDEO GUYS!!!!! I'm very inspired now
I will be backpacking in Europe with couple of my bestfriends in less than 2 weeks and this video made me 10x more excited. Great video!
Really enjoyed your video, guys! What a tremendous trip. Very inspirational for someone who has never gotten the chance to visit Europe yet. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
This video has been compiled nicely. Thumbs up ! Guys do a trip like this to Asia, you are gonna like it.
looks like you had an epic time! thanks for sharing... encourages me to get travelling more soon!
Loved watching this :) I'm going travelling across Europe for a month soon and this has got me excited for it! We are visiting a few of the same places as you did :)
Its refreshing to see such great young guys enjoying life.
Awesome video Michael! I randomly stumbled upon your channel because I just uploaded my own world travels video. It looks like you had tons of fun! Great work filming & editing! I just recently started making travel videos about a month ago while traveling Europe. I know all the hard work that goes into it! Your videos great! Have a good day! You just earned yourself a new subscriber!
Very cool. I enjoyed watching this video. keep your work on.
What I like of a lot of the young jews like you is that you are cultivated people, and instead of just going on a "spring break" kind of trip with drinking and partying and seeing nothing of europe like a lot of american young people do, you at least you took the opportunity to discover the food and the culture of this old continent. Congrats!
Awesome! This is how I want mind to end up
Loved it guys! I have traveled before & i'm soon to set off round Europe again end of July. Your video made me smile & got me so excited. I have never done Austria but now I think I might take a detour & check it out. Peace out :)
Also thanks in advance for the answers. Greatly appreciate it!
Thanks for watching!
have no expectations and you will love it even more
This is great! I'm taking jot notes for when i get to go.
Very well spoken guys.
Great trip. Just don't forget central Europe and eastern Europe, still very very beautiful and unique. Countries like Czech Republic, Poland, Hungry etc.
Awesome video, cant wait for my trip
this is exactly what i wanna do when i graduate and get my BA! omggggg
I love this!
Hi Tyler, The itinerary is pretty much exactly as the video shows. Our route was: Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Nice, Monte Carlo, Florence, Rome, Venice, Salzburg, Munich, London, back to Paris. We spent about 2-4 days in each city, and generally used a guidebook to get around and plan our activities. We traveled mostly by train, and stayed in Hostels.
Nice video! I liked the commentary you added to it
We really liked your video!!
Excellent video 👍
Great film brotha, inspirational!
I really loved this. Great job :)
Did some of the free walking tours. Also had a great lonely planet Europe guide- we'd usually read it on the train between cities and find things to do. Word of mouth always worked too, and we found a lot of great things just walking around
Great vid!!
amazing!!!
Man I'm so jealous of you. Out of all the cities you went to, I've only been to Paris and Barcelona and I'd like to see more of Europe.
This is such a great video!
Hi there- never had a problem on the trains- actually found it to be a great way to travel between cities. Gives you a chance to really see the countryside, and we often planned our next day as we sat on the train.
Just went on a trip exactly like this this summer. Went to almost all of the same places as well. Best experience of my life. I wanted to make a video like this but my phone was stolen in Rome. Brings back good memories to watch videos like this. :) I'll hopefully be traveling next summer again!
Very beautiful video!!
neat editing
wooow super great video! thanks~
Thanks man I appreciate it!
Great footage and even better editing
Wow thats awesome
I love this video so much, I have watched it a few times. I love how much you all really appreciated the experience and the culture. I make a lot of videos too and I am going on a similar trip in May, I hope mine turns out as amazing as yours did. Thanks for sharing.
I went to Italy and paris last year it was so beautiful now I just want to see amsterdham and greece
sweet video!! me and mate traveling europe for a month in 2 weeks!
Great video
glad you liked it!
awesome video!
I would recommend doing it out of college. I don't think I would have appreciated everything as much had I gone when I was 17...but that could be different for everyone.
when i saw that the video was 15 minutes long i thought it would be boring but its just encouraging me to do this
This was a great video, it looks like it was a wonderful trip. I'm also thinking of doing this with friends. Any chance you have some recollection of how long you guys stayed at each place, what the largest costs were, and any tips for pre-planning and to cut costs down.
Yes- about 4-4.5k each. But that included round trip flights from the US, 2 flights in Europe, rail passes for a month, hostels for a month, food, drink and activities.
well done mate!!
me and my fiance are currently planning our trip, were going for a month. were going to Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands
Nice video !!
You are really a lucky dog, That's the dream I always want to achieve , Well, it is also really enjoyable to see such a brilliant MV . Thank you .
Hi Matt, The trip was approx $3500-$4500 depending on how much each person spent on meals, souvenirs, extras, etc... We purchased a Eurail pass, but did fly twice during the trip as well- the flights were fairly cheap. Hostels were definitely safe- never had a problem, though we did have a large group and generally had the room to ourselves. Hope this helps, Mike
Is there a good book or website to plan such a 12 city trip with train routes etc. thanks for the video.
Travel agent here.. Depending on where you're flying from. Airfare can be around 1000-1500 per person.
Hi- yes most cities we stayed between 2-4 days.
Hi Michael I was wondering if y'all got the Eurail pass? And when y'all flew did you book those tickets in advanced from US or when you were in Europe? I'm traveling alone as well so I'm planning my trip ahead. I love you video thanks.

Hey, I was wondering weather you stayed in Salzburg or outside in Fuschl? And was it worth the train? Thanks
Wow
@Supplementreviewdude Good question. Travel expenses (flights, Eurail passes and Hostels) were a little over 3k. We each took one main lightweight hiking/travel backpack (I had an Osprey), and a small day bag. Tried to pack as light as possible- one pair of sneakers, sandals, 8-10 t-shirts, long pants, 2 pairs of shorts, bathing suit, underwear, socks, sweatshirt, etc... Overall cost was around 4-4.5k.
Nice videos
oh ok that answers my question.
5:47 Bravo! :)
HI- we spent about $4500 per person, but that could probably be cut down a bit. We stayed in hostels, and no we didn't hire tour guides- mostly used a Europe guide book to choose what we wanted to see- and also went on a number of free walking tours
dude may i please ask you summin, how ,uch did u spend a night in hostals a night and food daily im going to do this this summer and need some guidance im going with next to nothing but im going to do it! starting at Calais to germany and back to uk devon?
What is the name of that amazing place near Salzburg? Where you and hike and swim
I would like to do this someday....

hey where did u guys get info on every city just asked around or.. did walking tours?
Hey me and some friends are planning doing something similar this year. Just wondering did you pre book your trains and hostels or just do it as you traveled? Thank you

I'm from Barcelona and I will suggest you to buy a good guide book and then plan your travel (or trip ¿?) so there are so many places to visit in every city and you'll have to dismiss lots of them. About transport Europe is very well connected and have a lot of traffic (for us is very usual to travel across it) with good ticket prices specially flight tickets so is very cheap due to the countries are so close. Nice trip is to take a train in Italy to Austria, Croatia or Switzerland for example so the views are great. A good season to go is on Spring (May). In summer is too hot in latin countries and very expensive and full of people around Europe (from ends of June-July till September). England and Austria are so expensive countries and maybe is better to look for accomodattion offers with time and pre book them. Amsterdam is as beautiful as small and in 2 days you can visit it quite well. Italy is the country where you should spend more time in my opinion. Don't waste your time visiting Bullfighting in Spain so is disgusting and you can see it in Mexico as well. I recommend you Croatia much better than Montecarlo, is absolutely beautiful specially if you rent a car, and is so cheap country. That's all. Sorry for my English mistakes. P.S. Remember that in England there is another coin and in France is better to learn few essential words like greetings and tipical travelling questions.
Hmmm I'm confused by their route. Why start in Paris, then go to Amsterdam, then fly over to Spain? Seems like an unnecessary flight. Why not start in Spain and then follow the rest of the same route just inserting Amsterdam and Paris in between Munich and London. just seems more logical to go in a continuous route than doing a large jump like that.
I want to go
Hi, Could you give a rough estimate of the cost of this entire trip per person? were planning our own similar european trip and looking for an estimate of the budget. Also, did you use the Eurail global pass or a similar pass? and did you find the hostels to be safe? thanks
Thinking about doing this with some friends after we graduate. How much did it all cost per person you think? Did you stay in hotels or nice hostels? And did you hire tour guides?
im going to europe for two months only have about 2500 after plane ticket there how should we travel? rail or fly we have big packs so not sure if ryan air will take us any advice???
Hey! I want to do something like this when I''m older with some friends. Could you please tell me if I should do this out of Highschool or out of College
Which month did you guys travel?
I am doing a trip like this with my roommates next may. How did you guys pack for so much traveling? I noticed you had some nice clothing to go out in some of the footage. Also how much did you spend? Stay in hostels or hotels? Thanks so much!

Thanks for watching. As far as packing, we each brought one large hiking backpack, which could hold a surprising amount of clothes- mostly t shirts, socks, underwear, etc... I think we each took one nice pair of pants and a button down for Monte Carlo, but that was about it. In total we spent between 4 and 5 thousand dollars for the month- including all travel expenses (plane/train tickets/lodging), food, and entertainment. We stayed mostly in hostels, 2 or 3 nights in hotels total.

Michael Newberg Thank you!
Question: How much knowledge of the cities and language skills did you guys have before you went? Awesome video.

Thanks for watching! Some of us knew a bit of Spanish, and some a bit of French. Otherwise, we found that English was enough to get by in most countries. Just about every city offered free walking tours in English, so that was a great way to get the lay of the land.
How much money do you spend in your trip? im going to do a similar trip in a month. Tenhks!!
Iceland Air has some cheap flights from NA to Europe ... I found one from Toronto to London and from Paris to Toronto round trip for $750 incld. tax :)
Very professional. Did you go to film school?
Hi Michael were in Austria did you guys go ??
7 Cities Across Europe - Teaser
How much money do you recommend taking and did you book your hostel before or just turn up?
Hey just one question. How long did you stay in each city for? im guessing 2-4 days?
hey michael im from china.....is there any special visa to apply to tour italy....paris n swiss....pls do reply...
Great video, you should visit more eastern/central europe. The only negative is the bull fighting, which i personally don't agree with
How much money do you recommend per person to visit the same cities you dd?
Good video in some ways, but WAY too little time to really experience all the places. I spent 3 months in UK alone, and 1/2 of that was in London. Took that long to feel like I could say I had really been there.
