Europe Allies are back | Colorized World War II

Ойын-сауық

From their success in North Africa the Allies were ready to return to occupied Europe, first landing on Sicily before moving north onto mainland Italy under the command of Montgomery, known fondly by his men as Monty. But as the Italians surrendered, the Germans occupied Rome, making the battle for Italy a long, hard road, while the plans for the invasion of Northern France steadily took shape.

His bootlicking generals might have called him the "GröFaZ" (größter Feldherr aller Zeiten, the greatest commander-in-chief of all time), but the Führer was a complete military moron. The early successes of the Wehrmacht were entirely due to the Western Allies not being on a military footing as the Germans had been since Hitler seized power in 1933, their politicians fumbling their response from the very beginning, when they let the stupid, trumped up corporal march into the Rhineland in 1936 and then, most disastrously, appeased the monstrous moron in 1938 when they gave him Czechoslovakia...when the West could easily have crushed the Wehrmacht, thereby avoiding the most grotesque orgy of violence in all of human history. Hitler was in no way smarter than Goering and Mussolini. And neither are their admirers.
