When I met my wife her favorite band was Carlos Santana! I have gone way out of my way during the 40 years we were together to let her see her idol! That is one of the many pleasures I have in my memory of her being happy listening to Carlos play Europa for her! The cost of the tickets were extremely high but I will do it again just to make her happy! I love you baby! Until we meet again! Your old man forever!

I got to see him for the first time finally summer of 2023. Been on my bucket list forever. Makes me melt every time I hear this. I believe he called this part 1 earths cry. Part 2 hevens response. 😂

I was there that night! It was my 68th birthday, and I worked the whole show from the load in to the load, out all 17 hours. It was so very awesome to hear and see Carlos Santana play on one of the best birthdays of my life! 🧙‍♂️🪄🦁🎸🎤🎶❤️‍🔥🙌

Santana does something indefinable. It is superb. No one else does it.

He gave a little speech at a show here in my home town. It wasn't hokey or whimsical. He spoke from the heart and offered some timeless advice that still rings loud in my life today.

I remember the first time had the privelige of seeing the great man play was in 1975. The suppoprt band was Earth, Wind & Fire. One of the best musical nights of my life. Both bands were amazing. A true legend and amazing human being. Thank you Carlos xx

It takes big cojones to say "we're not lip syncing" and then play the instrumental Europa. Technically it could have been an air band not lip syncing (to an instrumental). Definitely it is "f-----g real" GREAT! Jayne and I saw him at the House of Blues in Las Vegas about 10 years ago. It's not too often you see a living f-----g legend in concert. We were blessed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Saw him at Stadium Jam in Albuquerque, summer of 1980. Special guests Gamma, Eddie Money, and Sammy Hagar. What a great day that was.

Saw him performing at the Curaçao North Sea Jazz festival in 2012 and his energy is beyond enigmatic. I was high without drugs. 😍

I saw Santana at Ohio University in I think 1973. The whole concert was just instrumental except they played and sang Black Magic Woman. It was a phenomenal concert and I think I was the only person who loved it. Everyone else wanted the band to sing their hits.

That band was incredible. The Lotus album was a revelation in the early 90s when the cd came out. There's a couple of concerts from that tour on You Tube. Magnificent stuff.

Amazing intro really hits home. His parents, Miles, and Bill. A few of the great power players in his life. And a truly inspired Europa, wow! I saw him the night before but this rivals that great show. Nice job with the video too. We're so glad you're still here and happy and healthy Carlos. Love you man.

I first saw Santana back in the seventies at the Hammersmith odeon, I think he was playing a Gibson L6S at the time, earth wind and fire were also playing,seem to remember the drummer doing some playing upside down, great show.

I really love the rich and warm sound of his PRS Singlecut - reminds me of the Moonflower era where Carlos played his beautiful sounding Yamaha SG. Besides that, I love his sensitive, soulful and bluesy style of playing. This Singlecut suits him more than the thin sounding double cut PRS...

Saw him live in Kingsville Texas in 1977 playing this awesome song. He is like a fine wine getting better with age. Saw him twice more after that concert and he keeps getting better and better. A true musical legend.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I saw Mana & Santana years ago @ Mountain View in California went first to a raiders playoff game took off on the 4th qtr to the see the concert. Saw Mana & when Santana came out I fell asleep I was so wasted that was not a good!! Now I have been 20yrs sober I want to see him & I would love for him to sign my to painting I did of him. 🙏🏽

CARLOS SANTANA IS ONE OF THE BEST MUSICIAN FROM THE WORLD.

I heard it was Earth Wind & Fire that convinced Santana to record Europa years ago when they were touring together and he played it backstage. Easily my favorite Santana song
