I'm happy you liked it in Koblenz und it was an absolute pleasure to meet you two guys. And to the english guys here: Excuse my bad english in the video. 😂 For those who are interessted in local football and stadiums. The "Stadion Oberwerth" is owned by the City Koblenz and actually used by three clubs. TuS Koblenz (5. League), Rot Weiß Koblenz (5. League) and Cosmos Koblenz (6. League). It is not a pure football stadium, but it has a long tradition as a football stadium in germany. In the 1930s and 1940s, several finals of the german football championship were played here. From 1960 to 1992, the "International Evening Sports Festival Koblenz" also took place in Oberwerth. A well-known athletics event with international stars, at which several world records were set. And as I already told you last night: After TuS Koblenz (the biggest footballclub in Koblenz) left the professional football business and was relegated to amateur football after bankruptcy, seats and a grandstand were dismantled for cost reasons.

Great video. I'm a Norwich City fan and it's a strange coincidence that I'm watching you in Koblenz as since 1978 Norwich have been twinned with Koblenz, we have a Koblenz Avenue near to Carrow Road and even a Norwich and Koblenz friendship association.

Could be wrong but 2 rivers join at Koblenz amd one is the Rhine, from memory. Last in Cologne on a primary school visit in 68 and eveyone drove VW Beetles. Speaking of 68, I thought the lady was holding the paper the wrong way up. Great video, just like being there.

Right. The bigger one is the rhine. The smaller one is the Moselle, which flows into the Rhine at the Deutsches Eck (German Corner). 😉

@@seancoleman5021 That wasn't a conscious decision. A few years ago, I stumbled upon an article by chance that talked about the gentrification of London and the attempt to expropriate the club. That taught me a lot about the people there. It was only then that I really came across Millwall FC, which I had previously only known by name. It was simply this combination of the people fighting for their home, the fans' passion for the club and the, let's say, "original football" that sparked my passion. I have always been a big fan of English football and some kind of a football romantic. But I never had something like a favorite club. But this mix of amazing fans, the history of the club, and the focus on what makes football special led to falling in love with the Lions.
