Just turned 50 and keep coming back to trance. Always loved electronic music since I bought the synthesiser classics on multi cd when I was a youngster - all the remixes of popcorn and Jean Michel Jarre. But nothing compares to the trance at the turn of the millenium. Melodic, uplifting, happy music - no wonder they call it euphoric. Could lift the spirits at a funeral!

Paul Filkins coincidentally lockdown permitting I’ve just got a ticket for the 90s rave event in October - top trance (and hardcore) lineup playing all the classics loads of 40 and 50 somethings to make me feel at home.and an alldayer so it finishes at 2 in the morning and not 6! As I said my missus despite being ‘only’ 47 there’s absolutely no way she said she’ll go though.

@@andypandy4078 Don't forget that this was music from your 20s. It will be played in old folks homes in 20 years' time. I don't think Vera Lynn should be played to people in their late 70s to 80s. They listened to Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Kinks etc.
