We really need more Amber in genshin story, Talking to her reminded me about her missing grandpa and how she's still trying to find him. It also reminded me of an old theory that her grandpa is from Liyue and had a lover there, but he married someone from Mondstadt instead. And then, it seems like he's back in Qingce Village to find his old lover I think its granny ruoxin

I knew Mondstadt was the last one, Because I don't see why they would have Liyue characters involved since I bet most of them have already ate at Wanshu Inn, and I love the choice on having Amber and Eula involved since I love their friendship.

Eula and Amber are some of the most forgotten characters in game from what I’ve seen. Mika’s voice at the beginning was odd. Also we know Amber can drink, so Eula saying that she can’t is just a flub on the writing. The “dish” reminds me of SpongeBob’s “Sundae” where it’s just a bunch of random bullshit thrown together.

It is nice that you do the events big and small so we can go back to rewatch them and lore!

It was really interesting to cook for old friends. I just wished we had a chance to see Xiao or cook something different for him. He lives in Wangshuu Inn afterall. He would've certainly heard about our working here.

Is Mika's voice direction going to change between *every* event he's in?

Loved seeing Amber and Eula and Mika again. Eula is a character I know is hardly META but I want her anyway. :P

Amber is still the og best girl, and just seeing her brings back some much nostalgia when Genshin first came out. Plus it was good getting some amber lore !

Not really? Charlotte was introduced all the way in 3.7. Kazuha was around in 1.8. This version going on right now is 4.4. There's 4 versions left for Natlan so would be a bit too early imo.

Yeah and we are on 4.4 still. We got more patches before Natlan. Besides they always reveal it during the summer and like you said two patches behind. We are like 4 patches behind still

While I was hoping to see Amber and Eula visit, I'm a little surprised Mika was with them. Not that I don't like Mika but we saw him recently in that Poetry Event. So I was kinda hoping Amber and Eula would be accompanied by Razor or Bennett, or possibly Albedo.

Opposite for me. Should’ve been Amber, Kaeya, and Lisa instead. I’m kinda tired of the solo Amber erasure in the game. Hoyo has no idea what to do with her anymore, and it seems clear that they’re avoiding a Amber Hangout Event for some dumb reason even though many have wanted it for a while.

What a surprise! I didn't expect 3 Knights of Favonius members, Amber, Eula and Mika to appear as the Mondstadt guest group for this event. Also, did they retcon the character's age or is the writing side screwed up again?

Doesn't help that his kit kinda sucks. Being a Physical Damage support in Genshin isn't a good niche, and he's at best a sidegrade.

I know Mika can't handle alcohol and both Amber and Eula can drink, but to be fair, they still have to travel back to Mondstadt and it's probably not a good idea to have alcohol before travelling. Remember that one Mondstadt daily commission where we have to sneak into a Hilichurl camp just to retrieve a drunk winery worker's keys?

That’s not how it’s presented. Eula makes it seem like they’re simply not allowed to drink. She could’ve said something along the lines of “they won’t drink” it would’ve been less confusing.

Should have brought Eula a lawachurl for main course, I am sure there were plenty of them running around...

The only problem is they got the dub wrong paimon refered to aether as her even though the subtitle said him kind of ruined it for me i hope they dont repeat this mistake again

Fun fact, in the first time he was actually introduced (via an event), the VA's take on his voice was less grating, it actually made him sound more 'realistically' timid. Then something changed, something about the voice direction changed, u get to Mika of today! He sounds a little more different in he voice lines, very slightly
