@@Buried_Dreams most of the time every time I mix it from scratch so I don't even know/remember what I did differently 😅

I honestly don't think drumming like this can be properly appreciated on KZread, because when I saw Dark Funeral opening for Cannibal Corpse last April, I knew of this song and its speed, but when they actually played it live it felt like a COMPLETELY different experience actually hearing and seeing someone play it in person, it honestly was a life changing moment because it's just so damn powerful. Seriously great job on this cover, I hope one day in Sweden I get to catch Fleshgod Apocalypse live...

Funnily enough, me and my good friends went to see DF on that European tour with CC and after we all shat our pants watching Janne playing it live, my friend (actually Radka Klein, the photographer) just basically taunted me and said "holy shit Eugene, Janne killed it, you should try too...." And I was like "no fucking way, can not pull this off...." Yet here we are....

They each make it their own. In the marching snare rhythm the first two segments are played in doubles while the last is singles, Janne ends this segment with doubles instead, Eugene's doubles have a high angle of attack while Janne's seem more from the wrists. I liked Eugene's opening blast here with doubles (Janne's was singles) than on the second segment transfering off the hi-hat to ride matching the speed of the blast and with accents on the bell, it was extremely well done. And ofc goes without saying that both Eugene and Janne transition and switch blast masterfully. I'd like to see either perform "Saligia" next by John Longstreth and I'd like to see Longstreth try this cover as well ​@prototheist
