So somehow this game ended up with an ORTHODOX and GREEK Latin Empire with a Palaiologos still on the throne, which by 1821 was well on its way to recovering the borders of Justinian, if not more; a PU-and-inherit of Castile by Great Britain; and a Mingsplosion followed by Shun basically recovering all of China other than a rump Ming state, followed by a Shunsplosion, followed by a near-total conquest of China by Dai Viet, with a mini Ming state still there at the end.

When the Ottomans attack you and you’ve accepted the conditions of the Council of Florence, the catholic powers will coalition the Turks as long as you become Catholic, thus changes your tag to the Latin Empire, usually it’s pretty easy to win that way but you can’t do any of the achievements of the Byzantines
