As Lusatia, build an kingdom south of the baltic and have Lübeck and Lwiw as vassal republics.

7:16 you activate it ONCE, which consumes 1 military professionalism, which then gives +200% manpower recovery speed for the cost of 1 professionalism every year (which you lose every month actually, so you lose 1/12 professionalism every month). If you don't have the time to wait for that manpower recovery then there was no point in wasting it, because it gives reduced mercenary cost.

​@@TheLibermania He knows how it works. He was just taking a jab at how much they've nerfed it. It's similar to saying, "What's even the point of this now?". If you've ever listened to Redhawk as a caster on Speed5 you realize he is super knowledgeable.

Why would you use consolidation of power? You want to re-elect your ruler more often to get him to 6/6/6 earlier. The only bonus there is the absolutism which you're never gonna get to in this series.

Actually, the T1 reform he went with (Civic Republicanism) only allows a maximum of two terms. Can't get a 6/6/6 ;)

He chose Civic Republicanism which limits the amount of times you can re-elect. The base term limit is two, but if you also pick consolidation of power you increase that by 1 term (as well as making the terms longer).

7:19 they changed it in one of the more recent updates. Now it just dramatically increases you manpower recovery speed in exchange for rapidly draining your professionalism.

​@@Hardlett Firstly, 1% per month absolutely is a rapid drain. Secondly, it actually reduces it by 5% per year, which comes out to about 0.416% per month.

Oh no, the Slacking XD. It isnt a normal click&collect button anymore hawk, you toggle it on for an initial professionalism cost and then you get manpower every month for professionalism. You just turned it on and of and wasted all prof.

I would kind of love a hussite playthrough with Lusatia, just because I think the bonuses you get from it are pretty strong-ish. Correct me if I am wrong ^^ But maybe getting Poland and Austria as help for indipendence, might even Hungary if their truce from the start is up. As the sorbs were "original" inhabitants of northern germany before the germans conquered them so try to conquer all regions of mecklenburg,saxony,brandenburg and pomerania and as a bonus quest convert their culture to sorbian. The convert culture is a choice.

This is great. My AI ally has given my this non-cobiligerant 10 dev HRE province, and all it cost me was like 100 AE.

Now, I’ve just started the video but at least getting released from Venice let’s you avoid fighting them for a bit for the province I guess!

Maybe you could try release the country from the capital province (according to euiv wiki) instead of most dev (Zeta in this case). Maybe for the next time ;)

You should try todo Hugo-salvia in EU4 (Hugo-slavia is the HOI4 achievement to control all land of your starting neighbors Italy, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Albania)

Whenever you have Croatian lands, you can release Croatia (or keep as vassal from the get-go) and do their mission for Zagreb, is pretty rare to spawn a trade center.

I do think it would have been more interesting to release from Serbia - they don't have any other tags, but we've already had some Venice releasables.

Fun fact: Victor Emanuel III's wife and queen-consort was Montenegrin, so Montenegro expanding into Italy kinda makes sense.

I feel that Venice in the most recent update is nore aggressive. They derailed my knights run by declaring on ottomans out of nowhere when I was their ally.

Slacken Recruitment Standards is a toggle now. It immediately reduces your professionalism, and then slowly drains it in exchange for more manpower. By turning it on and off repeatedly, you waste your professionalism :(

In releasables, Red Hawk's only goals will always be to become a Great Power and make his overlord not exist. It is part of the rules. He can only accept suggestions for goals in A to Z.

for the lusatia campaign you could try to revive the slavic culture in eastern germany. idk if you know the history behind the sorbian culture but its the last remaining relative of a culture group who settled in eastern germany for around 800 years. Back then germans moved out of this land to invade rome (back in the good days) which made it practically empty, so some slavic tribes like lusatia settled there. But around the year 1100 germans concerd this land back (to bring them cristanity). With new german settlers and strict rules the slavic tribes faded into the german culture. Lusatia is the last remaining part. So like i said maybe you conquer east germany back and dismantle the holy roman empire?

It would be best if you could first get your Corfu run out, if you can get Montenegro going than Corfu shouldn't be that hard for you. I personly think Corfu is even easier because you start as an island and if your lucky you can get Austria and Hungary to support your independence which makes it alot more manageble, I would also recommand improving with Castile before your independence war and afterward break up with Hungary and switch to Castile.
