Cleves needs to control Cleveland (the city in northeast Ohio on Lake Erie). Quite a lot of colonization to be had to reach there, and a bankruptcy or two may be inevitable to pay for all those colonies.

@@gospodinblanco5138 I'm pretty sure original land of Croatia is pontic steppe since there were iranian people in that region and it's more likely that they migrated to Balkans from there.

Can we also get "Custom Nation" in season C? Just think of the endless possibilities. Maybe some toying with ideas or religions that don't exist in any normal starting nation. Some Siberian Frontiers shenanigans or perhaps playing as Norse Vikings. That could be an interesting one off episode

In case you didn't know, higher Cav flanking ability basically means you can have more than 4 cav in your armies. Maybe 6-8 because of the 50% increase, which will also increase your shock damage by a LOT and possibly allow you high chances of stackwipes (if rest of your army quality isnt horrible). But, for a poor OPM like an Irish minor, it's useless since you can't afford Cav at all 😂

Comment 5 of asking Hawk to play as a random nation of each generic idea group under every A-Z video. This series is so cool since you keep finding ways to keep it fresh. Also, I don't see how generic ideas are worse than unique ideas.

Croatia challenge: reverse Switzerlake. Own 100 Coastal provinces without owning any inland provinces.

Im from Connaught, was really disapointed with Connaught/Clanricarde, Connaught is just as interesting as other nations of Ireland, infact, its flag is the Coat of Arms of a Bavarian Family, Schottenklöster, because the Ruling family loved it so much, and something to do with sponsoring a church in Bavaria, showing our German friendship. Connaught is home of High Kingship too, and the last High King of Ireland was from Connaught. Along with plenty of Interactions with Grainne Ubhaile/O'Malley the Pirate Queen. It's a massive shame that Ireland got shafted but an even bigger shame that Connaught was tossed to the way side. Given we're the furthest from England, everytime I play it, it becomes a race to unify Ireland before England can claim it, so it would be much more fun if something like that was a possible route in the mission tree. But oh well, Paradox ignoring things is a given. Regardless, great vid Red, glad to see you playing my home Kingdom, Connachtaigh go deo!

For Croatia, either do the coastal stuff, or try "becoming" HRE (that is, enter and become emperor, then eat all the HRE nations). It's nerve-wrecking, but technically possible, so ugh...

It would be nice option to always keep national ideas in this series, that would add a little bit of spice.

As Croatia you should own Thailand, as Croatia is the home and namesake for the earliest neckties in Europe, the cravat/ascot. It is literally the Tieland of Europe. So Tieland should own Thailand.

The only thing I know about Cleves is that Henry VIII of England married a really ugly woman from there, so naturally that should make the challenge to be getting a PU over England as Cleves

Also, 20:04 I'm from that province, it's called Sussex because it's the South Saxons, London was originally Middlesex (the Middle Saxons), Essex is the East Saxons and Wessex is the West Saxons (it's basically everything between Sussex and Cornwall)

As Cleves, form the Netherlands and control the province of Scarbrough. That province has the UK Cleveland area.

The AI always spazzes out when it comes to the British Isles, if you ally England/GB they will literally never send troops to help you on the mainland and if you try to fight them on the British Isles your allies will never come on to the island either. It doesn't happen with other islands either, like Japan or Caribbean colonial nations, it's always GB
