When I was a kid, my dad taught me how to draw and paint. I got pretty good at it during my elementary days. I learned gradient, emphasis, proportion, and more. When I stepped into high school, I got more engaged with doing more academic works and school matters that I almost forgot my drawing techniques and questioned myself why am I not doing art anymore? Back at that time, my classmates were very good at painting, portraits, sketching, video editing, photography, and more. They're the ones who usually lead in art projects & performance tasks such as dioramas, miniatures, role plays, fashion shows, short films, and more. I thought that my classmates are so much better than me, and I won't be pursuing art as my career, so why bother?" There are times that I get chances to show my art capabilities like one time when my artist friends convinced me to join them in joining a painting contest at school. I agreed since it was a good idea to be with my friends, at the same time, throwback some of my art memories. Fortunately, we won first place. Those times left a little space in my heart just for art, but I still wasn't back at it again. Til then, my priorities were studying engineering courses, and sad to say, I thought that art makes a difference to the world but not as much as technology, business, etc can, that "art is not essential for survival" as others say. While I am in college, this quarantine, I always get pretty busy about engaging with engineering stuff but still has time procrastinating, unfortunately. I forgot to say, I love stationery, and I found myself watching videos on how to make art more valuable and even profitable. It was waking the dormant artsy heart in me. My scholarship allowance was coming this August, and I was thinking of buying art supplies to try and get back to creating artsy things while being business-minded. Those allowances will be my investments to prove that art isn't just nonsense, that it can be a profitable mind-opener. Am I doing the right thing?

i think so! life would be dull and boring if you didn't take any risks. it's better to make mistakes than do nothing :) i wish you good luck! am on a similar path currently. starting to get ready for a little sticker shop, hope that all goes well.

The bar code thing is for tracking, so without it the customer just won’t have tracking ( I think ).

when you mail out those rigid mailers, do you put a stamp on them or are they considered parcels? O: I wanted to start selling on Etsy too but i wasn't sure how to ship products haha

do you just ship them as a letter? or do ridged mailers have to be shipped as a large letter mail? also do you not need an actual printed shipping label with tracking?

addy vibes you cannot because if the package gets lost they will send it back to the post office and you will never receive it back

I know im kinda late, but are putting return addresses required? Because I dont wanna give out my home address and PO boxes are a bit pricey for me. Also, do the stay flat mailers ship as letters/envelopes or as a small package?

i don’t think it really matters as long as you and your parents are okay with it! i started my etsy shop a few months ago and i’m only 14!

This is the 1st time i see someone use cardboard(?) envelope as sticker package....idk that thing is exist 😅😅 BTW if my sticker sheet just a single sheet (not packs), should i use ordinary envelope or this box envelope??

I have switched to using regular envelopes because i have been having issues with USPS. I recommend rigid mailers if you're really worried about your stickers bending but if not, a regular envelope should do just fine! ✨

I'm not sure if you're able to do that, with letters and cards you can just write but I think with packages you must use a shipping label especially if it is something you have purchased. I could be completely wrong though🤷‍♀️

Do you write anywhere the value of the package? I would love to buy from you. But taxes in my country is insane! But if they cant see the value they dont take it. Unless its like a big package and they value it high and i need to send proof. But stickers and papers like this they dont care about. UNLESS they see the value ❤️
