You should NEVER pre-label tubes.

Don't put the drawing instrument within reach the clients hand. And how to mixture the blood inside the tube is too rough, it possibly make the sample lysis Making sure the client identity can be do at the first yourself introduction,write that on the tube,also explain what you have to do, some question in relation with the examination, etc: fasting,or activity. Almost perfect..,I love that..

boy i bet since this video was made the woman that has the needle poked in her vein ,i bet her veins have got to be popping up everywhere on the arms and she is teaching phlebotomy and venipuncture too ,i bet she looks good today,i wish to see an updated video of the womand that was getting the blood test and see her doing the venipunctures too

ID the patient, take the blood THEN label the tubes. It's easy enough to take blood from the wrong person in a fast pace environment with allot of stress and pressure.

I would leave the tourniquet on until halfway through the last tube just to ensure venous fill/flow. But she is very good. She's cool, calm and collected which would put the patient at ease.

Isn't that should to do first before taking blood..?because when we do that to much of patient we can't do labelling sample after all the sample have done.

Not sure why she is using the 23 instead of 21? Gloving up before you find a vein will be your downfall.. especially when you get a difficult one. This person was very robotic, it's nice to have personality that is what puts the patient at ease.

You're supposed to ask of any allergies/medications before the blood draw. Latex gloves could have been a problem. Good draw, just all over the place in terms of organization.

I don't like nothing about the draw you should always your equipment ready before you draw on a patient and your tubes are going to be labeled before you go in the patients room,
