Pity you could only stay for one day. Last time I was in Etosha I stayed for a month, just before and during the time the drought broke, and it was a truly memorable. One of the days it rained so much there was a big flood (near Halali), with so much water I thought it might wash away the main road bridge, but when it hit the pan, it just seemed to vanish into a puddle. It looked like some kind of magic trick.

Solid content, apart from spelling Oshindonga as Oshidonga, you’re really one of the few people who’ve made great effort in pronouncing our names correctly.

Nice one Matt - Etosha is well worth spending more time in and sitting at key waterholes like the one in the camp at Okaukuejo, and the ones north of Okaukuejo. We have had amazing predator and elephant sightings in Etosha, but given that we travel often for wildlife photography more than mere overlanding, we tend to stay longer. Our last Etosha trip ended up with us spending 4 nights in each of the main camps, which gives you good time to explore the areas around the camps and get to know the "rhythm" of the wildlife there.

Really enjoying following your adventure. We visited Etosha a few years a go - Great place! The floodlight watering holes by some of the camps are a great place to animal watch in the evenings! One evening sat and watched about 40 Elephants came done to the watering hole alond with 3 Rhino's and lots of other giraffe, Zebra etc. - Your visist is taking me ringht back! - Looking forward tho the next episode! These are the places I havent been to and really want to go to! 🙂

You have definitely reached the overlanding escape and roam overlanding level with wonderful narration and magnificent footage but the only big problem is the videos are so short very short for that matter a 30 minute episode will do because i've been enjoying your episodes lately. Great stuff!!

I never even compared from day one I've seen him over exceeding to the point that I see them copying what he does in the recent vids they post. He's been there on top. I'd love to see more videos . I can't wait to finish this series so excited to see what's next

Just an observation, between 10:29 and 11:20 on your video, it can be clearly seen you have both vehicles on the pan and outside of the demarcated area. This is strictly forbidden, and Im surprised no-one has picked this up. The rangers at Etosha would not take lightly to this kind of behavior and would have probably expelled you from the park. Maybe edit that part out of your vlog to be on the safe side.
