Etobicoke Creek Mountain Bike Trails | A local rider showed us the way!

In part 2 of the Etobicoke Creek ride with Austin, we head north towards the more difficult black diamond trails. We met up with Eaphan, a local rider of the creek who offered to show us around. It turns out the creek is filled with way more trails than we originally anticipated!

Eaphan is the true gate keeper of the Etobicoke Creek trails. I think he has been riding those trails since the 90s.

He really is! that's amazing how he's been riding here for that long. He really knew the trails well and seemed very passionate about the creek. Awesome guy!

Nice video. I grew up in the area and moved away, but was back visiting family and rode these today. It's amazing how evolved these trails have become. 25 years ago it was random and scattered mixed with 4-wheeler trails. Great to see how ridable they've become. Thanks for profiling.

Yeah I was surprised how many trails were there and also the quality. The Don Valley is getting so busy now I think many people will likely start looking for alternatives like this to ride.

Awesome that you found a local guide.... I would have never guessed there was that much rideable trail that isn’t terribly overgrown up there.

We were really lucky! apparently he's been riding these trails since the 90's so it was perfect.

I remember the Etobicoke Creek as a young 12 yr old 65 yrs ago. just north of the Queensway rd There was a beep pool where we as kids would go swimming . It was called Granny's Hole . with the enviroment as it is today that would not be possible . Just thought i would share this with you and see if there are any old timers like me who might remember this.

Yoo wtf, i've been riding these trails for the past few years and I didn't even know there was a trail on the other side at 2:00. It never appeared on trailforks so I just didn't know. Thanks for showing me!

Yeah apparently a lot of the trails here aren't on trailforks yet! more exploring needs to get done.

Part 3 should be good. The north loop Creekbank, Matheson Loop and Explorer are the best trails

Part 3 is up! Yeah we still need to figure out where to go and it's a bit challenging with all the leaves on the ground. I look forward to coming back here next season and riding these full speed.

3:02 you're a beast bro lol. This climb looks like nothing in the video. We rode the creek the weekend after you posted this. I tried 1st had to bail. My buddy who always rides this trail tried twice and gave up after sacking himself on the 2nd try rofl

haha nice! It was really unexpected and can't believe I got it first try. We actually went back later and Austin cleaned it. I need to get back in the creek and figure out my way around! apparently we missed a few good section of trail.

@@AdventureTrailsTO yeah there must be a few different routes because I don't recognize some of the trails you took. I've only done this section of trail twice so I'm a newb also. I live in Peterborough now have you ever rode Haroldtown conservation?

Thanks! I'm using a GoPro Hero 7 Black - 4k 30fps, colour profile (flat), stereo microphone with windscreen. Search up BKXC or Jordan Boostmaster GoPro settings and it's similar to those.
