Passport protector required for Pakistan to UK with the same stay in AUH for 7 hours using Etihad airways? If we want to say only in the airport

hello, in your video the seat is already assigned in Boarding Pass at 21 A and B after you checked in. Do you booked the seat before or it is automatically assigned by Etihad? If you have your seat in you online boarding pass, can it be changed?

Hi, Yes in our case the seats were already assigned, because we bought them from 3rd party, like an agent, However if u try to book seats online u will get the option to book on demand seats, And in economy i guess u have to pay extra to select on demand seats, from which are available at that moments, But u can also change the seats while you collect your boarding passes, u can request to the boarding counter person to give you window seats, etc if available, . Like we did when we fly from Pakistan we requested a boarding person to give us a seats next to the emergency seat door, where one can enjoy a bigger leg room.

Hello! Random question if I check in online, the qr code that I just saw, do I have to show the Etihad ground staff when I’m at The airport to check in my bag and are they going to print my ticket on paper or I’m just going to use mine digital? Thank you.

You can just show your digital PDF of your tickets at the counter and it's fine, u don't need print it, while when u r doing your online checkin , it is written on the site that u don't need to print the tickets. However countries like Pakistan and other developing countries, it's better to print your tickets, just to safe hassle strategy.

@@ibrahim.allahwala Hello again, I mean if do online checkin online, pick my seat for free ( if free) and get the QR code. After that when I go to the airport check in my suitcase and everything, I know this question might sound stupid but they will give me boarding pass right? So I got my qr code and show it to them? I’m new to Etihad and I do not know what to do when I got to the airport at Heathrow and checkin.

@@RenatoJ-gf8sw Yes u r right, keep the QR code and as well as the ticket PDF in your phone, and after bag weightage you'll get your boarding passes.

Can I edit my last name in check in website? My full name is AAA BBB CCC, but in my passport first name is AAA, surname is BBB CCC. But while booking the flight ticket I filled AAA as first name, BBB as middle name and CCC as last name. I am a little worried about this. So, in order to make everything look proper as per passport, can I edit my last name to be BBB CCC in the check in page?

Hi bro, It's not mandatory to be your name on #check in /e- tickets Same as passport, i guess its going to be fine, flights already have details about your reservation.

It's not free bro, u have to pay to select specific seat. Each seat must have a slight difference as well in price.

WRONG TITLE --- it should be "WEB CHECK-IN"... Self check-in can also be done at the airport. Web Check-in can be done online.

Now , COVID certification is not mandatory/ required for most of the counties now, When we came to UK last October 2022, no one checked our COVID certificate or COVID card. . In our case, Even airline(eithad airways) website says one don't need to have COVID if you r going to Dubai , but if u r going to Europe u need COVID, But I'm telling u no one checked our COVID, from leaving Pakistan to reaching uk.

I am booked on Etihad from NY to Karachi next week. So wondered if I need to show a valid vaccination certificate when checking in here at NY. Their wabsite says to download it with three days before flight, but this may be outdated information.

@@mustafaahmed964 Believe me, no one is going to check COVID certificate, But To be safe side u can download COVID certificate into your phone from the website, nims.nadra.gov.pk/nims/certificate

Usually, the seats r allocated when u collect your boarding passes, as this happened to us, when we took our passes from counter we requested the ticket counter person to gave us window seats, and he gave us, . But now a days almost all airlines offer option to choose specific seats with More faires. . But it's up to the boarding counter person, as he has all the information which seats is occupied or not and he can allocate the different seat.

@@YUVIYT Yes bro, if u got a chance to book window seat , then u will be getting, As usually windows seats r already occupied, because there's always someone who book seat before u. So hopefully if it was available then u gonna get Window seat. However if u don't, just try to tell air hostess that if any window seat is free, u want to sit. And if your flight is in night then there's no point to site on a window seat. . My always favorite seat is the one which is near to emergency door. Where u get space like business class seat.

Option available hota hay print ka , when you login into your airline site, wasy aj Kal phone say he Kam chal jata hay, mean it's not mandatory to have printed tickets now. Just keep pdf in your phone and just show them on the airports.
