It's actually lighter because that is the weight of the 4.75 wide, the 4.5 is lighter.

I'd say these are ideal for fingerwhips. As I mentioned at 3:24 the deck has a nearly boxed profile, so there's a lot of surface area that would make contact with your hand during a fingerwhip. It's very unlikely to slice your hand in any way.

Yes. To my knowledge, the only occasion a deck and a compression system will be incompatible with each other is if it's a threaded compression (i.e. threaded fork, threaded headset, locknut) and an integrated deck (which is the vast majority of freestyle scooter decks on the market these days.) A more important question is if a deck and fork are compatible, or if a fork and a compression system are compatible, or if a bar and a fork are compatible.
